The Super NES is still my favorite console. Used to have Super Metroid, Link to the Past, Gradius III, and Yoshi's Island on constant repeat.
I may honestly end up playing my SNES Classic this evening.
#OnThisDayInGaming! 🎂
The SNES turns 34 today in North America! What are some of your favorite games for the system?

Brings back memories to when I was about 12. My neighbor had an old NES plugged up in his grandmother's basement. We used to take turns seeing how far we could get on this one in particular.

"Treat your body like a temple"
That's all fine and dandy, but when you're filled to the absolute brim with self-hatred, it's kinda hard to do anything in regards to self care.
Looking in the mirror and being like, "Yeah, that's what this pile of shit needs. Stained-glass windows..."

As my first Halsey album, I'm so stoked to have a visual component to go along with my auditory journey.
the new "gasoline" music video by @tiredandlonelymuse is exactly what i've been trying to say. because yes. yes i am still leaning on the same vices of ten years ago. yes i am obsessively trying to constellate the stars of my past with the help of hindsight. yes i do wish i could revisit the people i have hurt and used and loved and lost so i could try to explain myself one more time. yes i am reaching out across the grime-streaked table to scream through the decade at a chained and desolate version of myself. yes i have the key now. yes i am going to do something. so it only makes sense that i have to keep running.

Would someone have every other painting in the museum removed just so that theirs is the only one that can be seen
So that the drab and lifeless kindergarten project that they are can only be viewed without the juxtaposition of another creation
"Look at this! He's the best there is!"
Meanwhile, the viewer has nothing to compare it to.

Feel this down to my core
I sit across from myself in the mirror
And wonder if I’ll ever truly love who I see
If that person staring back at me
Is even capable of such a thing
My body grows and changes
Stretching and shrinking
Blemishing, fading
But my heart turns sour
My insides corrode
My mind feels love
But is my body capable of holding it?
Is there space for these chemicals to go?
Or will I turn everything rotten?
Will the gentle touch of my fingertips spread
My decay to one who doesn’t deserve it?
In my pursuit of love
Can I ever
Will I ever
Truly be able to hold it in the palm of my hand
Can it caress my skin the way it yearns to be
Can it make me feel whole?
But perhaps I am a bottomless pit
I’ll claw and fight and spit
Dragging you and everything else down with me
In the name of love
In the name of my selfish desires
And, perhaps, unfortunately
I will continue to love not knowing if I should
Eyes blindfolded and chest wide open
Bleeding and beating
So everyone can gaze upon my rot
To weigh it against a feather
And determine my fate
To decide if I deserve that relief
That Holy chemical sensation
Of which my decaying flesh craves
