Cinematography - Shot List
The shot lists for the short 5 minute film ‘3 Steps To Not Get The Girl’
When making the shot list, I went into the location we chose ‘Beerwolf Books’ to get a feel of the location and how the various shots would work. We also reasoned that on one of the shooting days (Saturday) we could not have the Dolly. In this version of the shot list, I have outlined the shots which use the dolly so that we could do these on the Thursday, leaving the other shots for the Saturday. We also trued to experiment using the influence of Edgar Wright with some of the camera shots/movement. One of the ones that I think do this are the cut aways at the beginning in which the Arsenal fan shouts about his team, in which the camera will quickly pan right creating an invisible cut which is a usual element of the filmmakers features.
