marvin thought on those words for a couple of seconds , his fingers moving to cut his tarot deck in two . the magician did not dislike unexpected company in the slightest , but he was caught off guard by the intense aura that surrounded the other when he appeared in marvin's space . delicate , nimble fingers pick three cards from the top of the deck , placing the face up so he could look at what the arcana had to say .

the 8 of swords was of no surprise , reminding the brunet of how domineering of a personality dark had . but , justice came in after . marvin already knew that the creature was logical and treated most equally unless they'd done him wrong , but it was always nice when the cards jog his memory . and then the ten of cups came in at the end to tell marvin that beyond that broken exterior was someone looking out for other's interest , whether they be good or bad .

the magician was n e v e r perturbed by dark's presence , but he always wanted to run it by with the cards that the raven was in a good headspace at the time . " well , i personally see no need to justify it . company is company ; and c o m p a n y is always appreciated . " he collects the three cards and places them back into very specific parts of the deck , where they feel comfortable , and then looks back up to dark with a coy grin . " but , while i do like unexpected friends joining me , is there something you need that brought you here ? "

jack does like chocolate ! his favorite kind are the orange creme filled chocolates that come in those valentine's day variety chocolates that come in a heart-shaped box .

marvin's ideal date is either a night on the town with dancing and drinks , showing off all the little clubs and hideouts ; or , going to an empty field in the dead of night and just stargazing , pointing out constellations . there isn't anyone in specific he's saving these ideas for , he just has them for whoever stumbles into his arms .

henrik looks for someone who doesn't judge him for his past and can be gentle with his already tattered heart . he needs someone who's willing to stay with him through both the good and the bad , someone who will show him through actions ( not just words ) that they have no plans of leaving him . henrik is looking for someone who can give him a sense of security . someone who can love him gentle and sweet .

so, i know i said i’d try to be more active again today since i got back from my vacation, but some family stuff has popped up. my dad got arrested today and no one in my family is sure when he’s getting out. he is the sole backbone to my family, he’s the breadmaker, the money getter. he’s the guy. i’m going to continue trying to respond to things as i can, but as it stands, it looks like i’m having to take a step forward to help and support my mom until we can get my dad out and will have to work more hours to do so. everyone in my immediate family is doing everything they can to ensure my dad’s swift and safe return. right now the soonest he can be seen getting released is 3 weeks, and that’s with spending over $6000 dollars on lawyers and bail to get him out. i’m sorry to be absent so soon, but i promise i’ll try everything in my might to step be active. i love you guys, thank you.
