Life of royalty was borin, no fun, no excitement.. just tellin people wha to do all the time. But wha makes it worst is darry constantly naggin, like leave me alone. I ain't 14 anymore. but accordin to him I' still is, when he gonna let me grow up?.. anyway I was n my room, layin across mybed readin reading a knock at my door. If it was darry I gonna crash out. But luckily it ain't him it was soda, thx goodness.

Idc if it was "wrong" for a royalty to be with a knight, idc about the consequences.. y/n is all I want.

It's been 4 ½ months since I seen y/n, they've been gone on a royal call as a knight. But with them gone bein a king was boring, although it was wrong for a knight, n any royal subject we had our secrets. But anywho- I was n my throne room bored as ever, when the messenger came to me. If y/n ain't comin home I ain't wanna hear it.

"Yes Philip? What news did u bring me?"

Before Philip spoke he clearly his throat, n proceeded to grabbed the scroll that was under his arm.. here we go again 🙄

"To prince ponyboy Michael Curtis I'm please to inform u dat war has finally ended, n all ur knights will return tonight.. ur loyal n dearest friend king Darrel Curtis" (Philip)

I ignored everythin else but heard "all knights coming home".. the inside of me did bk flips n cartwheels I was happy, but I had to keep my composure.

"Very well, n order of celebration we'll have a ceremony in celebration Send out invitations"

"Yes sir" (Philip)

As he walk away I walk down the enormous halls of the castle, n into my bedroom.. once my doors was closed, I leaned against it before going over to my n screamin n my pillow.. with excitement. Like a school girl kickin they feet when their crush finally asked them out; y/n's comin home!!..I then rolled on my bk to look at the top of my 4 poster bed n delight, I missed their smile, lips, voice n laughter.

I missed them so bad.. ughh!! Me tryin not to sound desperate. But I missed them.

As planned we had a ceremony n honor of my knights comin home, but my eyes was on y/n only from across da room. They so beautiful/handsome.. their beautiful e/c, skin, lips n just how they look. So mighty n bold n their armor. I wish I was their damseliness dress so they can save me. I wanna feel special too. But anyway as da night went on, y/n kept givin me quick glances across da room with a smile on their face.

Oh my heart 💖.  All I want was to be with them but rn I can't. Even though we close we still far away; I eventually found myself standin on da balcony of da ball room, starin at da village below. I was lost n though till I heard da double doors behind me close; Turing to my attention, I saw y/n. They looked so beautiful/handsome n their outfit for tonight. It didn't take long for us to embrace each other n a hug, n hold each other.

I felt tears falling from my eyes, y/n looked up at me with those beautiful eyes n wiped my tears; they brought their lips to mine, n my arms wrapped around their waste while y/n wrapped their arms around my neck. I missed them so much.

"I missed u y/n"

"I missed u too. N u still look as handsome as ever" (y/n)

I blushed n hugged them again, I ain't wanna let go. After we pull away out attention turned to da stary night, n saw a shootin star. N y/n made a wish

"Wha u wish for?"

"For us to b together like dis all da time." (Y/n)

We embrace each n other hug, I wanna b with y/n for da rest of my life. I love them so much, I ain't wanna let em go. Even it's wrong for royal to love a knight but I ain't care. I them too much, with every fiber of my being.

I was downstairs waitin on y/n to come down, I promised her that we'd go on a date. Tbh I didn't know where to go, or take her.. I sighed n looked out the window. Lookin out the window- my eyes caught my attention to the neighborhoods flowers in their yard; n butterflies. I sighed feelin bad that I didn't know where to take y/n, till it hit me. I'm so fuckin stupid sometimes. I looked out the window again at the flowers n butterflies; y/n love that pretty stuff. So thst solved my problem, now I have to wait a eternity for y/n to get ready.

Y/n p.o.v

I just stepped out the shower, I then dry myself n my hair; while my hair was wrapped n a towel, I went on n did my makeup. I put on a lil light pink eye shadow; then painted my lips n lipstick color to my liking. After I blow dry my hair n styled it n curls, dally loved my long curls. But anyway- I then stood n my closet door for about 10 minutes tryin yo decided what dress to wear, it's summer n I had a lot of variety of clothes. But I'm feelin a dress today.

I searched through my closet n found a beautiful sun dress I have worn n years; I just hope it fits. Standing n front of the mirror I slipped into it like a breeze, it had a beautiful flare to it when I did a lil spin n the mirror. The dress was white with a sweetheart cut n front of my chest, n it had cherry blossom flower on it. N to add my finishin touch I grabbed my sun hat; n sandals. Yep n I was now ready. When I headed downstairs, I saw my bf sittin on the couch dramatically n playfully pretend to be nappin, cuz I was takin so long.

"Dally, I'm ready"

"..finally doll, I though I'd turn n to sleepin beauty waitin on u. But u look absolutely breath takin" (dally)

"Thx u dear"

With that dally grabbed his coat, n he then grabbed a flower basket.. I was lost. Wha I need a basket for?

"Trust me doll, you'll see." (Dally)

With that we headed out. It was a sunny, windy day so we decided to walk instead. On the way to our destination; my eyes wondered the world lookin at the trees, flowers, n green grass through the neighborhood. I loved the outdoors. Where ever dally was takin me, I'm pretty sure I'll love it.

Y/n looked around at the world n amazement, n wonder. She really loved the outdoors. Mainly nature. As we walked we headed n town- y/n was still lookin around the town n wonder; before heading to our destination we stopped at a cookie store. Y/n loved her oreo chocolate chip chunk cookies, n velvet cookie. To me red velvet wasn't that good, but I took a bite anyway to humor her.

With a disgusted, but smile I swallowed the cookie. Y/n offered me another piece but I rejected it, I love my woman but I hate red velvet cookies. Anyway- when we got to the green house, y/n was confused knowin this wasn't my type of thing.

"Don't worry doll, I can make compromise"

When the doors opend y/n eyes went n wonder, the butterflies n flowers was n display. The green trees, She looked at me then the green house. Before walkin n she tackled me n a hug, n kissed my face all over.

"Thx u dally, I love u 💓" (y/n)

"I love u too doll"

With that she pulled me n, n she picked all the flowers she wants. Y/n also did make me a flower crown; while she picked flowers- I took sometimes n made her a flower crown. It wasn't perfect but I did it to make her happy. Long story short on way home she smutter me n kisses, my face practically stained n lipstick. n we still had our flowr crowns. Lookin down next to me, with y/n holdin her flower basket I smiled n chuckled to myself. She's just so adorable.

Y/n's chubby cheeks, cute lips, n beautiful hair n skin. She's just so breathtakin. Y/n then looked up with those beautiful e/c (eye color) n smiled.

"Y u starin at me?" (Y/n)

"Ur just too cute doll, how can I not?"

With that I kissed her head n, we headed home hand n hand. Sometimes I think would my life would still be the same if I never met y/n, but she's changed my life for the better. I wasn't as crazy, or dangerous as I used too; her love n care made me to a better man.

After a long day at work at the garage, I was exhausted. The drive home was stressful enough as it is, traffic. I hate traffic. I sat there for about ½ a hour before finally going home; once I got home I sat j my mustang for a minute before collectin myself. I tired, bored, n just missed y/n. Then my phone chimed with a reminder note. Today was y/n's bday n I had nothin for him.

Damn. I slammed my head againt the stiring wheel n frustration, n annoyance at myself. Y? Steve y we do the half things we do? Tell me y?.. after debatin n being lost n silence, I got out n headed for the door. Y/n n me both lived together n a small house not that far away from pony, but it was a good distance- but anyway. Using my key I opened the door to see y/n siting on the couch watchin TV. He looked up at me with his big innocent eyes, n smiled.

"Hi love" (y/n)

Hearin his voice at the end of a long day was all I need.

"Hi baby boy"

I knew he didn't really care if he got anythin for his bday, but I still felt bad. Closin the door behind me- I took off my shoes n jacket.. I looked up at y/n again, n I saw his attention was on a cookin show. He loves to cook, so basically everyday I come home from work n he cook somethin different for dinner everyday. But still not havin a gift for him made my heart ache..

"Steve? U okay?" (Y/n)

"-yea I'm fine."

He tilted his head at me knowin that I'm lyin. I just told him I was fine when I wasn't; y/b didn't pressure it but left it alone. I kissed his forehead n headed upstairs; after a shower of thinkin to myself- I dry myself n walked n our bedroom. Grabbin my pj out the dresser drawer, my eyes caught on the cook book darry gave me years ago; sayin I need to learn how to cook. Before I met y/n really.

I ain't sure what to do with it, till it hit me. It's ot much but y/n loves cookin n bakin. After I put my pjs on I headed downstairs with the cookbook n my hand; when I came n the livin room again hes gone. He moves fast when I ain't payin attention. But I eventually found him n the kitchen, ofc. Walkin n after him I rubbed the bk of my neck n finally got his attention.

"Y/n, listen baby boy.. I know this ain't much of a gift but happy bday."

When I handed him the cook book, his eyes light up n hugged me. Feelin surprised for a minute, but I hugged him bk.

"Thx u love.. I love it" (y/n)

He kissed my cheek n dragged me n the kitchen with him; he flipped open the cook book.

"Steve I ain't need anythin fancy but this is all I want, plus I want time with u." (Y/n)

N with that y/n taught me how to flambe. N it was surprisingly fun; together we made Duck à l'Orange - Duck with an orange and Grand Marnier sauce, flambéed for flavor. N Shrimp Scampi - Shrimp sautéed in garlic, butter, and flambéed with white wine or brandy. While for dessert was a Bananas Foster - Bananas cooked in butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, flambéed with rum.

Now I saw y/n point n bdays gift, I didn't need to get him anythin fancy. But something he loves is enough- plus spendin time with him was all he wanted. N I'll gladly spend time with him every chance I get.

After a long day at workin at the gas station I decided to head home early, tbh I didn't feel like dealin with people rn.. I just wanna go home. As I walked down the street n the direction of home, my nose caught a delicious smell. Lookin up, from my feet my eyes caught on to a lil bakery that just opened; huh.. probably some new n town.

The delicious smell of fresh baked pastries fill my nostrils, n before my brain could register what was going on- my feet lead me inside. Walkin n the sweet smells of pastries, n fresh baked bread fill the atmosphere. Like it was callin me n. Walkin n the small bakery, my shoes clicked against the wooden floor.

Lil pastries wrapped n well sealed n lil bags on the shelfs; with fresh bread filling the air. Not payin attention I accidentally bumped into some on.

"Oh, I'm sorry"

My eyes caught hold of the most short, precious lil lady I ever seen her chubby cheeks n figuer was too cute; like she came straight out a fairytale. Her big round innocent eyes, looked into mine mine her cheeks started flushin pink.

"I'm sorry, I was n ur way" (y/n)

"No, it's my fault I should've been payin attention"

Not gonna lie her outfit match her personality- she wore a white & pink blouse with cherry blossom flower; with a hot pink skirt. And her tiny lil feet n her sandals. I didn't want to be a creep n just stare so I turned away for a moment, before lookin down at her again. Dammit she's too cute.

"I hope u don't mind me askin, but whats up name lil lady?"

"I'm, y/n" (y/n)

Hearin her name was like a tone of a spring river, and the song of birds n the summertime.

"Y/n, a beautiful name for a lovely lady"

Her cheeks turned a dark shade of pink almost turnin red. But when she asked me her name, I felt embarrassed. My name of all things was Sodapop.. really? My parents couldn't give me a better name? Well it's better then ponyboy.. my brother name after a horse, but anyway; rubbin the bk of my neck I finally gave her my name.

"I'm Sodapop, but u can call me soda"

It was a moment of silence before I heard y/n let out a small chuckle. Apparently she liked it, she said it was unique n different- now my face was hot. Oh no. I didn't know her for so long n I want to know more about her.

"So, soda what brings u n my bakery?" (Y/n)

N she's got her own business? Okay, I respect that.

"Well lookin n ur shop window, I saw somethin sweet I want n it turned out to be u"

Her eyes widened for a minute, before lettin out a giggle. My heart can't take it. I wanna marry her now.

"I was talking about the pastries silly" (y/n)

She playfully hit me, n we both chuckled..

"Well that too."

After meetin soda, I showed him around my bakery n help him pick some desserts. Like cherry filled muffins, n macaroons. A dessert he never tired before. He also grabbed a couple of cinnamon rolls, n strawberry filled donuts. I guess he had a sweet tooth, wrong. I didn't sell my pastries at a expensive price so, it wasn't much.

But anyway- when I charged him his total cost $15, he gave me $50. For a minute I was confused but he told me to keep a $20 for myself, a $10 for as a tip n the last $20 for his pay.

"A $10 tip?"

"Yea it's not much, but all small businesses need to grow too" (soda)

I blushed a lil, then proceeded to wrap his pastries n a bag. Nowadays if a Soc found out a greaser had this much money, they be jumped. I should know I was a greaser myself; but anyway- I gave him bag n when he reached for it, my fingers brushed against his n I felt a shiver run down my spine. Y/n no- u just met him.. but I wanna know more about him

Soda let out a chuckle before grabbin my hand n placing a kiss on the bl of it, his lips was soft n gently. For a first time I know wha a princess feels like. When he turn to leave I felt a peace of my heart break, did he have to go?

"Thx u y/n for the desserts n lettin me meet u" (soda)

"Thx u, n same to u"

With that he blew a kiss at me with a wink, n left. I aint know him that long- but I felt like I was floatin on air n my heart flutter.
