I loved how Bash said to Delly “See the difference?” In reference to how Gilbert was acting skittish because of Winnie and her parents, not contemplating marriage at all but he doesn’t act that way around Anne. It’s like he was asking the audience to see the difference. Bash is a total Shirbert shipper, remember... and I think Mary was too. Also, I loved the shade he was throwing Gilbert about not being able to cook. I do feel cheated, because I felt like Anne was going to get her chance to slug Billy as it seems to happen once a season... but I’d be perfectly ok with it being Josie punching him. I can’t wait to find out what Anne was printing. I expect to shout “Hells yeah!” at my screen when I do find out. Also, as bad as I felt for Anne feeling heartbroken by Gil this episode, that was nothing to how I felt for her being triggered by Billy’s assault on Josie. She’s a sexual assault survivor too. I was screaming with frustration at the victim blaming and no one wanting to deal with the issue but Anne, because that’s the way it happens far too often in real life. #anne with an e #bashlove #feminism
