New Name!!!

Finally, FINALLY, I found a name that i like well enough for this blog. The old name was so utterly cringey that I just couldn’t deal with it anymore, so now I’m jadetree-art. It’s a play off of a couple of different things, and i think it sounds nice. So I am no longer stupid “art-blog-of-a-crazy-fangirl” (not only is it cringey, it’s a giant mouthful), but now jadetree-art.

Back in the day, my favorite dum dum lollipop flavor was pink lemonade. Several years ago, they stopped making that flavor, which made me really sad. As a little kid, however, I would collect candy wrappers. I still have a little box full of them, in fact. Today I came across this wrapper from a pink lemonade dum dum pop, and I got an idea. To make sure it never gets thrown away as trash, I decided to do something with it. So I made it into a tiny little paper crane, memorializing the flavor forever in my heart.
