i’ve been feeling kind of low lately, so i thought i would share something that makes me feel better.

as all nctzens should know, haechan means “full sun” and it’s a really cute and meaningful stage name for hyuck. i love it and i call him haechan a lot still because it’s so pretty.

i, actually have a connection with this name. to explain, my really close friends and family occasionally call me sunflower, mostly when i’m feeling down or upset. i’ve been diagnosed with seasonal depression, which quite literally means i get depressed without sunlight.

haechan brings me happiness in so many ways, i can’t even to begin to explain how thankful i am for him. you could even say he’s my sun, for when i need it most.

Nct Switch up

Chapter one

- This was inspired by a tweet that says, “could you imagine if nct held a concert but instead of having the normal units they completely just shuffled that shit around??like having smth really random like jaemin singing take off or johnny performing chewing gum, or like yangyang doing bdli,, it'd be pure chaos”

“So, now that there is finally all 21 members together, we have something special planned for you guys,” The MC spoke.

No one really knew how to react. What kind of suprise was it even going to be?

“And that is?” Johnny asked, from beside him.

“We have a challenge,” The MC answered.

The eagerness in the room suddenly rose to the ceiling.

“If you guys can complete this challenge, you’ll all be rewarded greatly,” he countinued.

“C’mon man, what is it?” Hyuck whined, earning a elbow to the arm from Mark.

“Let me explain, you need to put on a concert, that we’ll pay the expenses for of course- but the real challenge is, no one can perform a song from their unit.”

Mouths all around the room dropped open. Even though they were all of the same group, the units all had different songs and albums.

“So we’ll be switching stuff around? Noooo problem,” chimed Mark, who has debuted in 3 of the 4 current units.

“Mark, you’re forgetting WayV. That’s probably what you’ll have to do, and they sing in CHINESE,” Jaehyun replied.

Mark face palmed. He was good at a lot of things, but chinese wasn’t one of them. This definitely was a challenge.

“Are you guys up for it?” The MC asked after everyone had been silent for a long time.

Little blobs of conversations popped up around the room, discussing the decision.

“I-I think it’d be interesting, and it can’t be that hard, can it?” Jungwoo asked.

“I take that as a yes!”

“W-what I didn’t say-”

“Come bring over the hats! We can begin choosing the fate ASAP!”

“FATE?” Taeyong looked up.

“Okay so we have four hates right here labeled with units. You can only choose from units you are not in, or have not been in. What you choose out of the hat is what songs you’ll perform. You can choose three songs at most, because that’s a lot. Let’s get started!” The MC instructed. “Who’s up first?”

“I guess I’ll go, since I can only really choose from WayV,” Mark replied.

He grabbed the WayV had from an assistant and shuffled his hand around inside.

“Oh come on and pick already!” Yuta said, startling Mark.

“Okay, Okay,” he replied, pulling out two pieces of paper.

“Looks like I’m doing Take Off and Regular, chinese version.”

“That’s the third version of Regular you’re gonna learn!” Jaemin shouted from the other side of the room.

“You’ll be fine, Mark. I had to do it too.” Winwin said from behind him, patting his back.

“Next up!” The MC called.

“I’ll go, at least I have two hats I can pick out of,” Taeyong spoke.

He reached into the dream hat first, pulling out one piece of paper.

“What is it?” Chenle asked.

“Go!” Taeyong said excitedly.

“At least it’s a concept you can fit,” Johnny said, laughing.

“Okay, now I’ll do WayV.”

He pulled out one more paper from WayV.

“Regular! Looks like you’re not alone with learning a third version, Mark.”

“Next?” The MC asked.

“I want to choose mine,” Chenle spoke up. “Maybe I’ll get to do Boss!”

“Well, what is it Chenle?” Jisung asked.

“BOSS! I GOT BOSS! I’M FINALLY GOING TO PEFORM BOSS!” Chenle yelled.

“Woah there buddy, don’t pass out,” Kun replied.

“I'm the boss to the world what I can tell you how when I feel like our GOOSE GOOSE.”

“Chenle you know it’s loose-loose right?” Hyuck asked.

“This is Chenle version.”

“Fair enough.”

After everyone had went through to gather their songs, the ultimate line up was made.
