Blayze keeps his eyes over onto Jai as he speaks, of course he would leave if the other boy truly wants to focus on his homework. He bites down on his bottom lip slightly, careful not to draw any blood on the process. “Yeah — that’s m’name.” He answers as his arms fall to his side, legs spread out in a comfortable position in the chair. “No one around? Well then we should make some noise.” He says as he leans forward, and standing up — walking over to sit next to Jai instead. “You have any ideas?” He asks softly, as he reaches out to run his fingers trough the boy’s hair.

jai shuffled his homework into a pile and shoved the papers into his backpack, knowing full well that his focus was now on blayze so homework wasn’t going to be done now even if he wanted to do it. the younger man raised a brow at the blonde, his lips perking upwards into his signature smirk as he watched him get up and move closer to him. “ you don’t have to be telepathic to know what ideas i’m thinking about. “ jai bit his bottom lip as blayze ran a hand through his hair, god that felt so nice - he completely understood why dogs loved to be pet.

Aspen wasn’t exactly supposed to be there either. She had told her roommate that she was going to study at the library. Instead, she gathered her supplies and left to find somewhere she could work without the eyes of S.H.I.E.L.D watching her. At the sight of him, she stopped walking, an amused smirk on her face. “Of course, I didn’t see anything. But only if you can promise you didn’t see me either.”

jai wasn’t someone who was known for following the rules or even the laws but he wasn’t morally corrupt, he always argued his reasoning behind his excursions was purely to bring justice even if it meant breaking the law. that was essentially what being a vigilante was but to some people, not seeing a costume made it ‘being a miscreant.’ “ see what? i didn’t see anything? i’m not even seeing you right now. “

jai wasn’t an extremely smart kid so studying was a regular part of his life that he actually didn’t hate unlike his sister who’d rather skip class to run which he didn’t blame her for. he tended to let himself get sucked into his homework, going into manic focus mode which was a by product of his adhd. “ hm -? oh blayze ! “ it took him a moment to register his voice before looking up to see the blonde in all his glory, combat boots and all. a smile pushed onto his lips. “ i don’t think it’s too bad, there’s no one around to - i don’t know - hear something they shouldn’t “ he winked over at blayze as they watched him plop down in one of the seats. 

Blayze leans against the doorway, uncrossing his arms from over his chest. One of his combat boots rests against the doorframe. He flashes a fanged grin over at the other boy, gaze looking at Jai through his blonde hair. “You all alone in here? Now ain’t that a shame, handsome.” He says as he decides to move inside of the room, plopping down in one of the seats. He didn’t have any homework to do, and was pushing thoughts of studying out of his mind. Blayze would rather be right here, no doubt about that. [ @jaijaiwest ]

Irey was coming out of her class, wishing she had ditched it like she had planned to do. But she was excited as now it meant she can hang out with her brother to train something she loved to do, especially with Jai. She was about to text her brother when she felt someone pinch her and she jumped and scream. “Aye Jai, you ass. Almost made me drop my phone.” She said as she playfully slapped at his arm. “And no i’m not ready to lose because it’s going to be you who’s losing to me today.”

jai let out a loud boisterous laugh as his sister screamed after he pinched her. god he’d never get over how fun it was to mess with her, he’d probably be in his sixties annoying the crap out of her. “ It’s not like you couldn’t of caught it ! - super speed duh ! “ he flinched as she slapped his arm, a smirk pressing on his lips. “ nu-uh ! you better get some ice because you’re going to need it after i burn you with my speed ! “

@ireyswestii ​ being a twin meant many things to many different people, to some; they hated their twin, they were opposites or like jai, they were each others best friend. sharing a womb definitely bonded them for life and whether irey liked it or not, she was stuck with him. they’d decided to meet up after class to train which usually meant them racing each other until either irey won or they just both gave up. seeing his twin, he quickly ran up to her and pinched her hips, hoping to scare her. “ are you ready to lose ! “ he yelled out, not caring if the other students who were walking by were annoyed by his loud voice.

the thing about his investigative journalism classes was that jai took them way too seriously. his assignments that were just supposed to examples for interviews when he graduated, were his obsessions, especially because he wanted to focus on corrupt businesses & people. on the trail of another story, jai had just finished sweeping an abandoned building for evidence or clarity at the least. as he jumped over the fence, he was met with another person. “ you didn’t see that ! “ he exclaimed.

[ they are also a UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT at paragon. ] i hear they’re OPTIMISTIC & ENERGETIC, but tend to be FICKLE & RECKLESS. his file says that his power is SPEED FORCE CONDUIT. 

so since jai is a canon child part of this is going to be canon things that you should know about him and the other is the headcanon-y stuff that i have thrown onto him ! 

canon stuff !

jai is the fraternal twin of irey/iris west ii !! he is the son of wally & linda so he’s half white & half korean and also half metahuman & human.  he was named after jay gerrick, a distant ‘relative’ also known as the original flash. he was and is still a bit afraid of the dark, something he only confided to his father.

headcanon stuff !

jai’s best friend is his twin sister. the only person he trusts almost as much as he trusts irey, is his father who he’s extremely close with.  he’s a bit more of a teaser than a protector when it comes to his sister, teasing her and trying to get her in trouble with their parents but at the end of the day, he’d kill someone if they tried to hurt his sister.  he’s still training unlike his sister who is already going under an alias. he is a bit more hesitant to completely let himself go with the speed force running through his veins.  just like the rest of his family, he loves running but at the same time though, running doesn’t envelope his entire life. he runs when he’s stressed on a treadmill or to an airstrip so he can just angry run without worrying about hurting people with the wind that comes with his speed.  he likes to smoke weed to relax and chill but he isn’t a stoner.  he is at paragon to train but also is majoring in investigative journalism. so he tends to be a bit... nosy and pushy when he wants to know something and he doesn’t mean to be but once he sets his mind on figuring something out, he’s not going to stop until he does.  he definitely suffers from unmedicated adhd, so he does have a lot of hyperactivity that plays into his powers which is partly why he’s having a harder time with focusing on controlling his powers because his mind is moving a mile a minute on top of being a speedster.  even though he’s not a vigilante yet, jai doesn’t really follow the rules too often which is usually how he gets the answers he searches for. hoping fences, searching abandoned buildings, speeding in and out of crime scenes are pretty normal for him but he usually denies it if he’s caught and blames it on his sister bc majority of the time, it’s his father or uncle who finds him.  he is a bi boy who leans towards men more but !! he’s kind of an idiot when it comes to relationships. jumps into them too quickly and either hurts himself or the other person. 

power stuff !

jai’s powers are a product of the speed force conduit that also affects his muscles and causes super human strength but only when he calls onto the speed force. he also has a different ability that links him to his father through the speed force, their auras connect and sync together but only when one of them calls on the other. basically, he can summon his father and vice versa through their speed force auras.
