Welcome to STEVE SMACKDOWN!!!

This is the place for all your favorite characters named Steve to fight! Rules listed below the Google Form.

Rules about submitting:

1. Your character must be named Steve in some way. This includes: Steve, Steven, Stephen, Stefan, Stefano, Stevie, and Steph. Asks will be open and if anyone has any other form of Steve, they can ask if it’s okay.

2. No DreamSMP or Harry Potter characters.

3. Real people are allowed. However, they have a much lower chance of getting in, in favor of fictional characters.

4. You can submit multiple characters, just don’t send in the same character multiple times in a row.

5. Submissions will end one week from now on July 18, at 1:00 PM EST.

6. If you have any questions, send me an ask!

Hello, and welcome to the Video Game Dog Bracket!

Do you like dogs? Do you like video games? Do you like dogs from video games? If yes, then this is the tournament for you! 

I’ve been wanting to host my own bracket for a while now - ever since I submitted a character to one of them a few months back, swore to myself I wouldn’t get invested in the results, but then ended up doing just that. Thanks a ton to @artificialkids-2k23-official, without whom this bracket wouldn’t exist!

The rules for submission are fairly straightforward, but I’ll list them here anyway.

An obvious one, but all characters submitted must be dogs, wolves, or mythical creatures that are canine in nature (i.e. Cerberus or a dog-like Pokémon). Foxes are on thin ice. 

Anthropomorphic dogs are okay. 

Characters must have originated from a video game or visual novel. If they appear in a game, but it’s an adaptation of a movie, for example, they won’t be counted. 

Named characters are preferred and will be given priority. I’m not saying that you can’t submit Granbull or every Nintendog, but in the case that there are more submissions than bracket spaces, they probably won’t make it in.

Please only submit one character at a time. The form is open to multiple responses per person, so you can submit as many characters as you like. (Just be reasonable with it and don’t send the same one over and over again?)

Currently, the plan is for submissions to close on June 9th, but this may be subject to change based on the amount of traction this bracket gets.

Finally, here’s a quick list of characters that are automatically going to be entered into the bracket as per the “poll runner’s bias” clause. I guess you can still submit them if you want to, but it won’t really do anything...?

Welcome to the Unluckiest Character Ever tournament!

In this tournament, we will be figuring out who the unluckiest character in all of fiction is! Are bad or unlucky things constantly happening to your favorite blorbo? This is the tournament for them! However, unlike a normal tournament, the characters who LOSE each poll will get to move on!

Here’s some rules

1. No real people. Live action and YouTube series (like Scott the Woz) are acceptable however.

2. Nothing Harry Potter. Please.

3. Submit as many characters as you want! However, don’t submit the same character 20 times in a row.

Jacket 3: I Don’t Have A Funny Name For This One: John Variants Time Tho

Basic rules:

1. No real people, fictional John variants only please. Please only submit fictional characters, I won’t be accepting for example, concepts or place names.

2. The form will remain open until 1pm CST on June 2nd.

3. Please only submit each variant once and only one variant per form.

4. I’m gonna accept pretty much anyone. If you can make the argument to me that it is in fact a John variant, there will be a place for it in the form, but I’ll make the final call.

4A. If I get enough of certain variants, I will break the bracket down into more specific variants (ex. maybe a Jon bracket, maybe a Johnny bracket), this will depend on numbers of submissions.

5. The bracket will be 32 variants max, as last time. This time my One Mod Blorbo automatically in is Ianto Jones (Torchwood). Please do feel free to nominate him though as the number of nominations will determine the seeding.

6. It will still be mandatory to give a reason why you’re nominating your variant. This is both to make sure no one spams, and because I want to know your reason! You will also be required to give a reason why your variant is a variant (if yours is like Johnny or Jon, you can just like… put that, and I’ll get it).
