Mostly because it's from Jesus POV and i would love to know how he sees Daryl. Every time I think of the game I imagine what could happen next. Sweet torture.

it’s a beautiful fic, I was wondering bout your thought process for ur Ocs and how u came up with the fic?

I absolutely love the dynamics w dare and everybody there just so human and fleshed out!! Sometimes I do want to jump in the story and slap a character silly cuz sometimes they just ask to much from dare like he’s been to hell and back give him a moment😞 like w Rick and negan. Like give my boy a minute to heal.

I loved his relationship with Taiwo even though I could tell it wasn’t going to last because he just didn’t understand dare as well as he thought he did. Ur Ocs are just scrumptious 😋 I love what they added to the story!!!

There was a moment when I wanted slap both Taiwo and Amaka because his sis just died please don’t make it abt yourselves, even though I understood where they were coming from😞😞!!

Anyway u r such a phenomenal writer u really convey emotion and setting so well through actions all ur characters felt soo natural, ur dialogue is just soo flowy and beautiful ur just a beautiful writer!!!!

Thank you so much, I'm glad you've been enjoying it so far! I'm very touched by your kind words. The fic was a response to a prompt, I didn't save it at the time but it was something short like " daryl is younger". So the story was meant to just be the first ten or so chapters but it turned out to be pretty fun to write, so here we are. To be honest, my thought process for the OC's was equally short: " the kid needs friends", lmao. I thought it would be fun to see Daryl in a different environment where he's not the hero, where nobody is or knows his family, in a city... it was fun to explore. And I never plan anything so it was kind of like we were meeting the OC's and their world at the same time. It was also a way for Daryl to grow into an adult; learning how to built friendships, maintain relationships, be more confident in who he is, it was kind of the missing piece that allowed us to jump into the last installment. I hope you'll love that one too. Thank you for the ask
