Welcome to The Webcomic Library!

Hiya peeps! My name is Luma (Xe/Xem) and I run the Webcomic Library, a database and general comics project. I've been running the Library for 7 years and overtime have been able to read many comics, meet creators from all around the world, and learn so much in the process. I'm passionate about webcomics as a storytelling medium and I wanna share that with you all!

The biggest part of the Webcomic Library is the Database. Over the years I have been able to document over 2000 series. I tag by a range of categories including more basic info like where a comic is published and its genre to more in depth information like LGBT+ representation and content warnings. I have over 300 tags so far to help you find a series that you'll love!

Of course, I do more outside of the database. I'm active on Tumblr, Twitter, and Bluesky boosting comics, sharing resources, and general comic ideas and news. I also currently have a discord for people in the community to meet (PM for an invite), I've run a virtual convention in the past, and collaborated with many platforms and collectives including Hiveworks, Webtoon, and Screentones. Thanks to the work I do here, my dayjob currently is at Tapas as a Content Moderator . The Webcomic Library is currently actively archived by the Library of Congress, including my Tumblr, as part of their efforts to document the broader comic community. To put simply: I get around!

Being a one person project I do a lot of legwork to maintain and expand my efforts. That being said, I could always use help and support to bring the Webcomic Library to heights I couldn't achieve on my own. You can help this project by:

Thank you all for your patience during the one week hiatus! But we're finally back for the final part of this four part epic, and the conclusion to Season Two! When we last left our heroes, Clara was cornered with JJ nearly brain dead and about to vaporize her friend. Tyler was unconscious. Bolt was being chased by a bunch of mutants. Aileen was in a chokehold. Crosshair and the others are stranded in the desert somewhere. The GS is unable to communicate because of the broadcast. And Mesmeron has the entire world in the palm of his hand. How are our heroes gonna' get out of THIS? Read on and find out! After page two, updates will be every other day!
