I would guess that the opening of the box would represent your opportunity for choice. The Legos representing your need for creativity and play. The mold representing feelings of disappointment or wasted opportunity. So all together this dream could mean you are wanting to choose creativity and follow the joy of constructing new things in your life but might be holding some sort of disappointment in either past attempts at that or subconscious bias that is a waste of time.
So brains are weird, on the plane I had this dream where I opened a box of Legos and it was all moldy, someone interpret that for me

So, fun fact about the skinned FurReal pony - I got the ID wrong, but only because Smores and Butterscotch's necks are semi-fixed in position, and I didn't think to google if the image I had of Butterscotch was mirrored.
The skinned horse IS Butterscotch, not Smores, but all of that's besides the point.
