so part of the reason i made this side blog to begin with was to learn pixel art, basically one of my 2025 goals. so here is baby's first pixel art without any instruction so i can see at the end of the year how far i've come.

over the course of the year i hope to learn how to use programs specifically for pixel art and also i'd love to work towards more portrait like pixel art not dissimilar to @tofupixel, i love how detailed their art is and the colouring as well

but here's the starting line, so *waves at future me* i hope you had fun and learned lots of new skills!!

aFTER TWO YEARS IT IS DONE and just in time for the new year! now to just iron it and buy a frame and put it up but hoorah hoorah it is COMPLETE, labor of love this one

i have begun the year with a new project and that is the legend of zelda breath of the wild tapestry, pattern by colorbandiits

i'm very excited about this project and i'm enjoying it, making good progress though i'm fully aware that it is TWO METERS of fabric aaaaaa, this may take years but i'm cool with that
