i’m being slow as all hell with replies omg but i’m trying to get around to everyone and then i’ll reply to ims and post a starter for jasmine tomorrow sometime!! here’s a collective goodnight to everyone who’s off to bed as well as one from me once i finally doze off!!! love you all already!!!

Jasmine put a pause on her story, lifting her herbal tea to her lips as he spoke. Like when the adults in Charlie Brown talk. Okay, that was fair. It wasn’t as if she took a breather when she got started on a story, her words probably blurred together into one endless noise. Still, it didn’t make her feel any better about his comment. “ Sorry. There was just so many rabbits, it was adorable. I got excited. ”

Carmen locked eyes with her customer. Granted, another cheap bastard who didn’t want to pay for the bouquet of flowers he had specifically order last minute. It was a classic tactic from middle-aged men. It was the end of the day, her shift was practically over and her patience was running thin. “Getting your wife to forgive you for the third time for only $130 dollars isn’t a bad price at all, don’t you think? In fact, I would say it was a fair trade.” He grumbled something under his breath and slapped the cash on the wooden surface. “Pleasure doing business.” Once he had left Carmen adverted her gaze to a new customer and gave them a practiced smile, “how may I help?”  

Jasmine figured she should simply start her own garden, considering how often she found herself at the florist’s, gathering ingredients for one brew or another. But, alas, nursing didn’t have a very forgiving schedule--- her plants would die within days. She tried to mind her own business despite the loud exchange happening at the counter, letting her hands run absentmindedly over pots and vases set out around the shop. Her eyes followed the man as he finally made his way out, though Carmen earned her attention as she spoke up. “ Uh--- you don’t happen to have marigolds in stock right now, do you? ”

“did you know that we charge extra if you’re good looking?” the bartender leaned over the counter with a bottle of vodka in his hand, a charming smile etched across his face as he talked to the customer who, he thought, looked pretty lonely and it wouldn’t kill to hit them up to hold a conversation since he was growing bored either way. with a chuckle, he ran a hand through his hair. “and did you know that it was my way of staring a conversation?”

“ Ah, good thing I haven’t had a drink since my twenty first birthday, ” Jasmine responded simply, a quiet laugh leaving her. It was as if she hadn’t even heard the obvious attempt at a pick up. She tended to have a sort of selective hearing. “ I was just waiting for someone. ” Despite her avoidance of alcohol--- drinks would only worsen her many conditions, really--- other wix tended to want to meet at Cassandra’s, and so she obliged. “ What, by implying that people owe you money? Smart tactic, I gotta admit. Money’s an attention grabber. ”

hey everyone, i’m madi and this is my adorable daughter jasmine!! i have a stats page up on her blog and i’ll be putting up a bio and a lil wanted relationships page up sometime tonight or tomorrow but for now i’ll put a lil bit of helpful information about her under the cut!! Feel 100% free to message me if you’d like any sort of plots with her, i’m always down to plot!!!

Jasmine is a nurse at the hospital, and she mostly works in ER, though she’s sometimes stationed in long-term care depending on where attention is most needed.

Her power is health manipulation, and it basically works through an exchange of health: she can either heal others and take on their condition or heal herself and give someone else around her her condition in exchange. She mostly sticks to healing others, which has really weakened her over the years.

Jasmine’s just a smol bean who cares a lot about everyone, so she’s really easy to manipulate, she basically gives her trust out like free candy.

That being said, she’s not weak minded in the slightest and could be a fairly powerful enemy if someone was to push her to that point, but getting her to that point is pretty hard bc she’s just so damn naive.
