As a young, nerdy and intellectual Black woman, who has a strong affinity for sci-fi and supernatural genres, I feel so seen by the creators and writers of Lovecraft Country. It’s Black supernatural storytelling. Their attempt to weave actual historical events that have profoundly affected the Black community into an intricate sci-fi/supernatural plot has been immaculate thus far and I can’t wait for more. 🙏🏾
