Together with teachers, they brought to life logos of famous animation studios by turning them into characters. The purpose was to create a short animation story which has no limitations and gives a possibility to prove their skills! We congratulate all students on the successful completion of the Motion Beast course and wish them good luck on future projects! Winter '09 BUCK headed up to the Pepsi headquarters to pitch Mountain Dew a spot for it's marketing during the spring. Our concept was to show how Mountain Dew had evolved throughout the years as a walk through time. The style was developped by myself and the legendary Josh Cochran, and produced using a mix of roto, cel animation, and 3d.

Poppy Jackson is a renowned actionist artist, investigating themes around the performativity of the body through working with the female body itself as site. Celebrating the body through a rite of passing and transformation, her new piece presents an embodied ritual in action, in conjunction with the local architecture.

Developed from her work Site, which was part of the SPILL Showcase 2015, Rite spans poles of power and vulnerability. In activating public space, it critiques current societal attitudes towards the female body, drawing inspiration from the ancient figure of the Sheela-na-Gig who was previously installed above many church doorways.
