Hello! May I make a request? No pressure of course.

I was wondering if you could write a BBC Ghosts Captain x male reader?

Any format, Headcanons, Oneshot or whatever.

The general plot would be something along the lines of a new ghosts arriving after dying near the house close enough to be stuck there (You may decide the way of death as it's unimportant) anyways Captain immidiately has a soft spot (Maybe the others notice and there is some teasing) and he has a huge crush on you.

If the captain had a soft spot for you:

• he would constantly check on you, even if you were only in the next room

• he wouldn’t be as bossy with you as he is with the others

• he would hang off your every word, even if you were talking about the most pointless things

• the other ghosts would tease him like mad, even Pat would make a joke or two

• on your death day, he would be by your side, checking on you the whole day

• if ever one of the ghosts said something that upset you, he would immediately jump to your defence

• whenever it was your go to choose the during film club, he would always make sure Julian didn’t take your turn

• if you were interested, he would talk about the war and tanks with you constantly, if you weren’t however, he wouldn’t talk too much about them

• you would definitely know his name, he wouldn’t want to keep you in the dark about that

• you’d know him better than any of the other ghosts

• eventually he would admit that he had feelings for you, while he did so, he would bounce on his heels

• when you told him that you had feelings for him as well, he would have the biggest smile on his face

• your relationship would stay a secret for a while until Julian found out and told Robin who told Mary, and so on

• Humphrey of course, would have known the whole time

could i request something with Humphrey ( bbc ghosts) where the reader and him flirt for a bit but the reader says something a bit suggestive and thinks they've crossed a line, but then Humphrey says something suggestive back (basically fluff w/ hint of smut) good luck with future writings! :)

You and Humphrey had been good friends since you died, Humphrey had immediately taken a liking to you seeing as you actually payed attention to him unlike the other ghosts who sadly forgot about him

Since you had got along so well, you felt comfortable saying most things to each other, meaning there was a lot of flirting between the two of you

He’d say something flirty along the lines of ‘ I’d it hot in here or is it just you? ‘

You would say things like ‘ you must be a broom because you swept me off my feet ‘

They were never original or particularly good pick up lines, or flirty comments but then again, he was hundreds of years old and you were from the nineteenth century so it’s fair to say, you both tried to keep polite and a bit cheesy with your comments, some comments you learned from Alison and Mike when they’d flirt with one another and some from books that Alison gave you to read

Anyway, one day you were in the library with Humphrey, both of you going back and forth with flirty comments or pick-up lines until…

‘ I’ve been wondering… do the carpets match the drapes? ‘ you muttered

As soon as you said that you stopped and if you could have blushed you would, Humphrey stayed quiet for a few moments making you worried you had crossed the line, but then he slowly turned and looked at you with a slight smirk

‘ why don’t you find out darling?’

Your eyebrows raised as you stared at him

The two of you stared at one another for a good minute before Humphrey raised his hand to your cheek and whispered ‘ may I kiss you?’

You nodded, unable to trust yourself to say anything

Humphrey leaned forward and planted a soft kiss on your lips he opened his eyes to look into yours to check if you seemed uncomfortable

You didn’t, in fact, you were incredibly happy, you had, had a crush on humphrey for years but masked it with the back and worth flirting

You put your arms around his neck carefully and kissed him slightly harder than he had kissed you

Humphrey pulled away After a few seconds and got up and then stood in front of you between your legs and kissed you again, his hand now in your hair

His other hand travelled down your side and your hips, stoping on your thigh

You mewled slightly at the contact having not being touched or kissed like this in a very long time

When he heard this he pulled away

‘ are you ok with this y/n? ‘ he asked, worry present in his eyes

‘ absolutely’ you muttered and then pulled him back into a kiss, needing the contact after so many years, he felt the same, him and his wife had rarely done anything together never mind anything like this so this was amazing for him

He then began to unbutton the blouse that you were wearing ( sorry, it makes it easier ) and started to kiss down your collar bone

You groaned unsure what to do

Just as Humphrey brought his hand near to the place you wanted him…

Julian, the captain and Kitty walked in

‘ WOAH what the fuck are you two doing?!’ Julian laughed

‘ good lord ‘ is all that could be heard from the captain

‘ OOH ARE YOU TWO MAKING A BABY?’

Can we stop making gay ships straight please? I’ve been trying to find a good Thilbo Bagginshield fanfiction and I keep coming across genderbent Bilbo ones, if we did it to a straight ship people would go mad but it’s ok for people to do it to a gay one? It makes you seem kind of homophobic if you can’t stand for it to be a gay ship… just saying.
