Files were scaled to 1/24ish scale as this build is intended to match the filming models used for Star Wars. Painted with airbrush and detailed with brushes.

The stand is a wooden base, with a Rebel Alliance logo printed from Thingiverse. A hole was cut into it with TinkerCad to fit the stand that came with the purchases model. The plaque was made in TinkerCad by combining a Star Wars logo and the official ship name.

1/72 scale 3D printed Millenium Falcon

With Bandai 1/72 TIE Fighter and X Wing for nerdy benefit.

Sadly, I do not remember which Falcon I downloaded, and did not save the link. I do know it was free, and I had to cut it up in several pieces and scale it to 1/72 scale.

The landing gear were printed from a separate source and I made styrene flaps around them. The radar dish or gun turret may also have been separate files, I made this so long ago I can't recall.

Dishonored Watercolors

Cottagecore Crafts Cabinet

I decided I didn't have enough ongoing projects so I have dolled up my crafts cabinet.

The body was painted with some greyish-green acrylic paint. The top work surface was stained with a mahogany gel stain. All exterior surfaces were sealed with a polyurathane sealant. The backing panels were covered with some leftover vinyl wallpaper. All the fixtures and baskets were painted a dark copper color. There are also some vintage looking wheels so I can move it around as part of my monthly "yes I'm fine, everyone rearranges all their furniture every month... right?" habit.

The main focus was the windows for the doors. I was aiming for a nice stained glass appearance. I used this glass glue stuff to give the old timey glass texture, and then designed and 3d printed the window panes. One of my coworkers very kindly made me some stencils of animals and flowers which I laid under the glass as a guide for painting. The glass isn't as opaque as I wanted it to be, but overall, I'm quite pleased with how everything turned out.

I also plan to build a small addition to the top with drawers and shelves, like old writing desks had.

Pet Portraits

One of my coworkers asked me to paint a portrait of their dog for them, and I said yes. Thing is, I have never done dog portraits, so I spent two weeks practicing and watching youtube videos. I started with watercolor/watercolor pencils, then acryllic paints, and did the final piece in a mix of acryllic and oil paint.

The final piece is above, the practices are below. I also decided to paint some works featuring my dog as well for extra practice.

The Hobbit Collection

1/72 scale Star Wars Imperial Hangar

The TIE Fighter, Interceptor, and Vader's ship are all Bandai model kits. The TIE bomber is 3d printed from JediJayFish's file on Thingiverse.

I deisgned and printed the columns? and the back wall, floor, and doors are all made out of styrene. Everything was painted by airbrush and spray paint.

Also pictured is my 1/72 scale rebel base. All scenery crates and such were 3d printed from numerous sources.

The Aragorn Collection

My collection of 3D printed props used by the character Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings.

The ranger sword/sheath, elven knife, and coronation crown were all purchased from BigFredsCustoms on Etsy.

The shard/hilt of Narsil, Evenstar pendant, Lorien brooch, and Ring of Barahir prints are all free on Thingiverse and/or Printables. (I can't remember where I found all of them, but I know I didn't buy them)

Everything was painted by me. The sheaths are slowly rubbing off the blade paint but they complete the look so whatever ya know.

This file comes from DanielAlex on Printables. The file comes in several different scales and is extremely well detailed. The 1/500 scale version is about 1 foot long. The model does come with a base but I made my own.
