Showcase: Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Voyager Optimus Prime

I've made a couple of these photosets before, out of a need to catalog things from my collection idk if I'll keep on display, out of a need to have visual references, and also cuz it's like therapeutic at times

but anyway yea, this guys is probably going to be my standard for when comparing to other figures, mostly in size. He's the standard 6-inches which... not sure why 6-inches became the standard for collectors figure lines.

But yea he's still a good figure, and with him fully analyzed I can probably move on with finally opening other figures in my collection.

Watched Rio (2011)

Saw this while at a family friends place for Labor Day party

Going to hyperbolically strangle Disney for shutting down the studio

That aside funny thing I never watched this movie before but I did watch Rio 2 like years ago

Watched Pixar's Elemental (2023)

Family put this on during dinner tonight, I thought it was pretty cute The visuals were really good, the story was alright, I liked the family inheritance premise but the romance part I wasn't much into, still though pretty nice

Showcase: Kirby Friends fat Kirby and Waddle Dee figurines, + Kamen Rider DX Zetsumeriser Key (unsure if incomplete?)

(apologies I didn't watch Kamen Rider so idk much about this thing. But a friend does and thought i'd pick some stuff up since they sorta knew)

Showcase: Blokees Transformers Galaxy Version G1 Ratchet

first time with Blokees and yea I like it! Construction was fun and a very posable figure. I don't know if i'll necessarily buy more unless its a special day like conventions (or they do Unicron Trilogy stuff)

Watched Superman (2025)

Watched this with part of my family.

Admittedly I haven't had much interest in DC, outside of general character info and friends sharing their favorite scenes, I've only fully watched Cartoon Network's Teen Titans and saw a couple of the DCEU movies (which kinda left a bad taste in my mind)

But yea this movie was fantastic.

If I had my gripes it has a rather depressing first half and also maybe some parts with Krypto dragged on since he’s a chaotic element. But that did make the second half way more uplifting, a very hopeful movie all things considered.

update: we watched Ultraman Rising (2024) for dinner, which I watched last year when it came out. Still holds up well.
