A place to hate Noor

⚠️ SPOILERS⚠️

Okay... Please tell me I'm not the only one that hates Noor so much! I have no one to talk to about this. I have many options about the book, but my major one is how much I hated how much it was about Noor. She has an awesome peculiarity, and I was excited when we first found out about her, but then she was just turned into a one dimensional love interest!

My favorite character is Emma Bloom. She's badass and caring at the same time. I loved her relationship with Jacob so much because their love felt so real and young. I understood it was controversial, but its completely understandable given she circumstances. I understood their break up, but it totally ruined Emma's character. It just made her sound like a jerk and it was just a way to push her away from being a main character.

Then Noor comes in and takes Emma's place! She doesn't even have a personality. She's a mere replacement no one asked. Her relationship with Jacob is bland and forced. I would've preferred for them to be friends in order to make the group more of a family and given room to actually give her a personality.

I'm sorry, but Noor being the center of this trilogy and taking Emma's place ruined the series for me. Next time I read it again, I'll just stop at the original trilogy. This trilogy will mean nothing. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Just finished Conference of the Birds... Wtf! (Spoilers)

Okay, so I did like it, but didn't at the same time... I really liked what Ransom Riggs did with the story and I am very excited to know about what happens next. But I'm going to give a list of things that I just can't get out of my mind.

1) The last part... It felt so rushed, specially for something so important as that. V was someone I was hoping to meet. It was so brief and unexpected. I had no time to process what was happening.

2) We didn't get to see a lot from the Peculiar Children. It was all basically about Noor, it honestly made me dislike her.

3) Jacob and Noor... That is what I hate... I just can't! The whole thing with Emma was so sweet and loving, and it took time. This new "love story" is just too force and quick. They hardly know each other! I just can't stand it, it makes me uncomfortable. It was so messed up for Jacob to just forget about Emma like that, to not even feel bad about it. Please tell me others agree with me!
