Ao3 Where I post the long stuff and eventually the short stuff.

what if the first time steve and eddie actually meet is when steve picks up dustin, mike, and lucas from hellfire a month or so into their freshman year.
and when steve starts dicking around and roughhousing with dustin a bit.. thats when eddie sees him
him.
steve harrington.
king steve harrington.
king steve harrington, jock extraordinaire fucking with his new (pretty brittle, he got told off for the same thing at the beginning of the year by mike and lucas) sheepie
Eddie’s at the car in next to no time at all, tears steve off henderson, and punches him square in the face
Run Sweet Like Oil - This is my contribution to the @harringrovezine inspired by Sergio Cupido's artwork "Romeo and Juliet". Happy to post it here now, too. :]
C1 - Glowing Water - G - Fairy Rings - Steve's mother always told him to avoid mushroom rings in the woods, step through and the fae have you. Steve has always steered clear of them even if it seems as if the whole forest is full of them some days. Unfortunately no one ever told Steve they can grow under water.
C2 - Midsummers Night's Dream - G - You're Not Done Yet - A year after Billy's death Steve has an encounter with his ghost.
C3 - Sex In The Woods - E - Bottoms Up! -Steve is just trying to get away from the heat of the bonfire when he winds up with his ass up in the air.
Thank you @harringrovesummerbingo for a great event <3
Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?
the problem with autism is sometimes you want to do something (brave) but you need someone to gently walk you through each step so you know what will happen. and people don’t like doing that
I believe pretty firmly that it's really only the stylization that makes Chilchuck's age as ambiguous as it is, and that it'd be a lot easier to tell in real life.
and after a serious-ish comic here's a little bit of bullshit
that article going around abt firefox's new ad program is annoying bc it's phrased as though "mozilla has finally TURNED on its people and is SELLING YOU OUT for cold hard cash!!" when. that's not what's happening. it is specifically being implemented to discourage tracking behavior, and literally all the data they are giving to advertisers is aggregate and anonymized, which is like, the opposite of what that post wants you to worry about, lol
One of my favourite things when reading fanfiction is when you click with an author's style so much that you adore the fanfiction you're reading, and once it's over you need more. So you go to their page and hope that there's more for any fandom you might know- only there isn't any. They've written for other fandoms you aren't familiar with and never would've thought about before.
But you're down so bad for their style and talent that they got you wading in like:
I'm starting a poll for the next about how the upcoming Pre-2000s MetalSandwich Movie Mania event for this November is going to be laid out! I hope you can help!
Must admit that one thing that changed the way I see fandom discourse is realizing that a lot of fandom is just… playing with dolls. We're playing with dolls. Shipping? Playing with dolls. AUs? Dolls. Darkfic? Dolls.
Lotta people very agitated about the other kids playing with dolls wrong.
