This is my 3rd tattoo and so far my absolute favorite. 

Brand New has been one of my favorite bands since i was 13 years old so eventually i wanted to get a tattoo dedicated to them but also have more of a significant meaning to it.

I got the lyrics ‘They say you need to pray if you want to go to heaven but they don’t tell you what to say when your whole life has gone to hell��� within the tentacles because for me it’s a reminder that I got through a lot of things on my own, emotionally. Being raised catholic you’re always taught to pray but going thru the things i did was kinda like hell on earth, so its my way of saying i was strong and got thru it all even though i didn’t have the guidance or words of wisdom from anyone else.
