“You can stop. I will help you.” he said. “How can you not be loved. You are so nice and pretty?”

madely bit her lip and looked up at him “i dont know if i can stop” shr admitted before going on “thats sweet of you ti say but i just dont feel like anyone can love me, after my ex and i just i feel like such garbage”

He smiled. “It is true.” he said squeezing her. “Even ask Jemmy.”

She couldnt help but laugh “your funny, but from what i can see all you say is true” she grinned feeling happy to be in his company

“I know It feels like this now but this isn’t the solution. A year is long enough. There are some people that have five years and skin that will forever be damaged.” he said. “You are loveable.”

Madelyn sighed and gave him a small smile. “I dont know if i will. Its so hard. Ive been doing this for a year. Its like an escape. i just feel so alone and….and unlovable” she said softly looking at the ground ashamed as more tears fell. she had never told anybody about this until now.

“Um, can we go to somewhere we can ride a rollercoaster or something?”

“Yeah. I think so. I don’t even go to Starbucks.”

“Am I the only one who purposely gives the wrong name at Starbucks for my coffee? I always give the most outrageous names to the workers, just to see the priceless looks on their face. It’s hilarious, you should try it one day.”

“Oh yeah?”  She smirked picking her head up to glance at him

“Uh hey, do you want to go do something? I’ve been staring at math textbooks for the past week and none of it make sense still and I think I’m about to lose my mind. So yeah?”

“The drink’s on the house if you can tell me something new. This shift has been dreadfully long.” Dallas remarked, placing a glass on the bar.
