Meet my friend Ghada Kareem from Gaza, who overcame the impossible to achieve her dreams.

She was able to win first place worldwide in the International Green Skills Competition of the European Union Training Foundation. She became one of the first technicians in solar photovoltaic systems in Gaza and one of the most influential women in Palestine in 2021.

She worked hard to achieve her dream, but the war shattered her life. The war took everything from her: her home, her room, her office, her smile, and her memories.

Ghada is the sole breadwinner for her family of 10. She lost her elderly father and her disabled brother in an airstrike. Her family is in urgent need of humanitarian assistance; I ask you to donate whatever you can to help Ghada and her family rebuild their lives.

After 10 months of war, we have become exhausted, desperate, hopeless and displaced. We have lost our homes and livelihoods and gone with the wind. Things are driving us crazy and mad. The lowest level of life is unreachable. Water and health have become a healthy dream that we must achieve. What we are living is worse than the bombing and continuous killing. That is why I am asking in this blog to help us overcome these unbearable conditions and move from health to health and peace.
