so my awesome friend @jetra-artz has had this Jetra AU based on the movie "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and I finally got to watch the movie.

So I decided to write a fanfic for it! The first chapter "Everything Has a Beginning" is up now on Wattpad and AO3! Enjoy a snippet below the cut

Jesse leaned against the counter of the restaurant, twirling his drink idly in his hand. The loud buzz of the convention was all around him, the sounds produced by excited speaking and piqued interest. The noises weren't unusual for such an event.

Until it suddenly was disrupted by the restaurant doors banging open, a set of event security barging in. Jesse frowned, leaning over to get the attention of the restaurant owner. "What's got them so worked up?"

"Ah, you didn't get the alert? Someone shot Gabriel. The event security is searching for anyone who's alone."

Jesse nodded slowly, turning and scanning the room. One of the event security noticed him looking, striding a few steps forward. "Are you alone, sir?"
