I’ve never really made a fic rec list before, but I thought I would give it a try.

The Stansa Starter Pack

So, have you noticed this little ship, Stannis/Sansa on Tumblr or AO3? Feel like it’s way too weird? Feel like it can’t possibly be for you?

Well, I’m here to rec the fics that might possibly change your mind! And even if they don’t, they’re still hella good.

1. The first fic to read is definitely Wedding by linndechir. It is a canon AU that shows Stannis Baratheon as king, wedding Sansa Stark. Jon is a Kingsguard, and his relationship with Sansa in this story is good. There was a little line early on in the story that had to do with their relationship that legit made me cry. The smut is hot and tasteful, and the characters are on point. You won’t regret reading this one, kids.

2. The second fic on my list is  Half of Winter by manic_intent. It is also a canon AU, featuring soulmates. In this verse, your soulmate’s name is inscribed on your wrist on your 12th nameday. Watch how being betrothed to Stannis Baratheon from birth changes Sansa Stark’s life. (The best part - spoiler alert - is that Lady doesn’t die!) You might not be able to read this fic unless you have an account at AO3, it’s for AO3 users only.

3.  His True Queen by LionsAndTigers is up next. This is a fic told from a few different POVs and it goes back and forth in time. It happens many years after Stannis Baratheon has taken the throne, and shows glimpses of how Sansa helped him take the crown. The smut in this story is some of the hottest I have ever read in my life.

4.  Would That She Would Cleanse Me by  LadyTP is a fic that is pretty recently written, and it is amazing. It is a “what if?” fic that shows what could have happened if Stannis had been victorious after the Battle of Blackwater. It has sizzling voyeurism and masturbation scenes, but it is also full of really sweet little moments.

5.  Proudwing by Silberias is a short story, but it is so full of great moments and emotion. Sansa is giving birth to King Stannis’ first child, and she is terrified of what might happen if it is a girl. Read and learn what happens, and whether the birth of the child brings them closer together or further apart.

6. Lead Me to the Truth by EmynIthilien is a story that I feel really nails the way Stannis and Sansa could possibly end up together if certain events in the books had gone a little differently. Their characters are spot on, and there are tons of great details. (EmynIthilien is an amazing writer, and if you like Stannis at all, you should check out her Squire of Dragonstone series. An incredibly compelling AU where Stannis comes to Winterfell with King Robert at the start of GoT and ends up taking Jon Snow on as his squire. This has far-reaching consequences.)

7.  The Haunting of Stannis Baratheon by ShipMaester is an AU that is set in the fifties, and it is based on the classic film: “Laura”. Stannis Baratheon is a detective faced with solving the murder of socialite Sansa Stark. But he gets much too invested in the case as he learns more about her. This story is amazingly written, with so many twists and turns. A murder mystery and a romance.

There are so many more great stories and authors I could recommend, but I’m going to leave it at this for now. I’m willing to rec more fics, though - if you find yourself reading these and needing more. Just send me a message. :)

Summary:  Still on his knees. Gods, these Starks. They like him groveling. Also, they were naturally wary of anyone not born in the miserable cold. How had he forgotten about that? Did he truly expect it to be easy and that Sansa Stark would joyously accept him?

I already saw one in AO3 and I LOVED ot but since you are one of my fave Jonsa writers and you're a brilliant writer, I wanna see you take on the whole thing especially Jon's POV. Please, please. Thank you.

So I apologize anon, because while you really wanted Jon’s POV, his doesn’t come until the end. There is Jealous!Jon, but I ended up making this more about Jaime x Sansa than Jon.

 It had started as agame. A way to get back at Jon for his betrayal. For betraying his family,despite the fact that he was half Stark, and also a way to get backat him for how he’d broken her heart. Not just for bending the knee to theDragon Queen (and oh, how Sansa’s blood boiled when she saw the other womantalking so haughtily about things she knew nothing of!), but for ripping her heartout when he had confessed he’d actually lain with her. The man shethought she’d loved (despite the fact that she believed him to be herbrother) was now her cousin and though at one time she’d hoped that perhaps he mightreturn the feelings she had developed for him, now she found she could not get pasthis bending the knee and laying with that woman.

Team Baelish!!

If you have not yet read these two masterpieces, please please please!!!! go right now…you really must…they are connected, making a perfect story together in my opinion although that has not been mentioned by the author, and these are what patched up my broken heart from s7 finale.

Shows one great example of how things could have been done, serving the justice for characters and plot, if petyr must have died, and I wish D&D or all those ppl only celebrating petyr’s death could appreciate how the complex dynamic between sansa and petyr could have explored so much more. I only hope this amazing writing could be played by aidan in my dream tonight.
