I’m good. I’m completely exhausted, but I’m good. I’m gonna get home and she’s not going to want to come home, she’s just going to live at Auntie’s house forever. But they’re doing great, Eve is her lovable self, I got to see her last night. I swear she’s getting so big it’s crazy.

I’m glad! Yeah, Auntie’s house is probably amazing, but surely it doesn’t beat mom. Nothing really beats mom! I’m glad she’s doing good. That cutie is literally like a foot taller every time I look at her. I can’t imagine how you feel!

Oh my god dude. Are you okay?! Is your place okay?? I can be on my way in like a minute. You had me at food. 

So since getting here and starting to unpack I’ve managed to drop a box of plates causing them to break, trip over my sheets before I could make my bed and my clothes are spread all out over my floor and not put away properly. Will anyone become my savior and come and lend me a hand before I end up seriously injuring myself. Anyone at all. I will buy you all the food you can eat.

I mean, at least your kid smells good? That’s the upside. I can’t really relate to that. I live with just cats, and I don’t have the chance of having baby powder go everywhere. I did drop a bag of cat litter once, and that was a mess. But that’s about it. But hey Louis, I’m Abbie! 

Being a dad is the greatest thing in the world but sometimes I wish I had the luxury of not unpacking for days. But with a one year old, you have to have shit put away and organized immediately or else you end up with baby powder everywhere and, coincidentally, a very nice smelling child. Could be worse, I guess. I’m Louis and I’m very relieved to finally be here.

It certainly wasnt fun but I pulled through! I was crying because my team lost the olympics so I might have been a tad on the dramatic side! Much better for sure, thank you! Haha, I see, so like, if you were to be hungover those would be your foods? Mac ‘n Cheese is a super good call! One of my favorite comfort foods! Add a little buffalo chicken? Yes please! I actually love ginger so I should invest in that! Have you ever had the ginger candy? They’re a bit spicy but perfect for nausea!

You made it! And that’s important. Alcohol usually brings out the dramatic side in people anyway, so I’m sure you weren’t alone. Yeah, definitely! Those would be my go-tos. Mac’n’cheese is honestly the best thing in this world. Aside from like, cats and stuff. You should give it a try! I haven’t tried the candy but I’ll have to go and get some and use them.

I actually have a pinterest board with all sorts of tips! I love all that silly stuff and on top of that try and keep my living as natural as possible with cleaners and such. I nerd out pretty hard about that stuff, you can completely make fun of me for it,  haha. Ah, Downtown is lovely! Downtown you gotta hit Sweet Tooth and then in Green Acres there is a great ranch so if you like animals, specifically horses, you definitely need to check it out! I’ve been here for five months now, I believe? It’s really been wonderful. Yeah, I think you’re right about that! But, hangover and all, it was a great night!

That is so amazing. I wouldn’t ever make fun of you, girl! That’s actually super cool. You’ll have to teach me some of that stuff. I also want to check out your pinterest. Because it seems like you’ve got great tips. Downtown is lovely, I’m enjoying it so far! I haven’t seen the ranch yet, but I totally want to check it out now. Animals are so cool. That’s awesome!! Five months is ages. Hangovers are usually the indicator of a good night.

I am, I promise. I’ve got everyone around me looking out for me. Val would never let anything happen to me and that includes dehydration or lack of cuddles. Sometimes I think she prefers to see me through a screen rather than me being home. She’s being spoiled by all her Auntie time.

Good. I’m glad. I just like you being okay out there. Auntie time is super special and I’m sure she loves it! She probably misses you heaps. But Auntie time probably helps.

It’s always great to re-purpose things. Like i got a crate when I visited a farm for some veggies so I’ve turned it into a great storage unit for my office/second bedroom. Once you get over/process the moment when you realize your parents aren’t infallible heroes though.

That is so cool! Things can always have a second life, you just have to find out how to make it work. Yeah, definitely. They’re people too!
