hellooo everyone !! i just wanted to drop an ooc post to say hi and introduce not only dash but myself so i’m not just a question mark of a person while on the dash (or dash) heh. but yes !! hello lovelies i’m kristina and i’m hecka excited to rp with you all and play out my special snowflake dash and hopefully u all love him like i do :~) but if u couldn’t tell i’m 1d trash and as much as niall is my ray of sunshine that lights up all that is dark, louis is my smol son and has my heart but yEAH i also love taco bell, livetweeting the walking dead and procrastinating on school work (don’t really love that last part buuuut it’s happening rn so whoOPS)

but yes !! imma drop some quick facts on dash so u all can get a feel for him and i’ll send asks to u all for figuring out our plots in a few !!

his first name is actually dashiell since his parents named him after their favorite writer dashiell hammett but he prefers going by dash 10/10 of times partly bc he likes it better and also bc it reminds him the pain of reading maltese falcon so dashiell *thumbs down emoji* dash *thumbs up emoji*

he’s 50/50 american and british since his dad was born in the uk (essex especially) and his mom was born and raised in seattle to a family of well respected lawyers to predominantly wealthy clients

dash gets his !!! love !!! for soccer from his dad who was a member of manU for a good three years before he had a hecka bad knee injury that made it impossible to play again professionally (given he started teaching dash how to play once dash learned to walk even though his doctor probably would’ve smacked him) but now he’s relocated his family to lawton bc small town ideals and a hecka nice house they built but now he coaches soccer at cameron university

so yeah his dad is kinda still bitter about it and always refer to his prime days as a manU player and projects that onto dash and pushes him to one day make it to the la galaxy team p much he wants him to be the next gen beckham which dash aims to be but he’s like dad…pls chill

dash has three other siblings – jericho (21) and the twins amber and aaron (15) – their dad originally tried to push soccer onto jericho but he was likel o l no thx and followed in his moms footsteps as a lawyer and is at yale for law currently so it’s more pushed onto dash since he actually enjoys the sport 

p much dash’s dad is a pageant mom living vicariously through her daughter

but currently dash is a senior in high school and on the soccer team and has his eyes on going to either notre dame or stanford 

he’s generally a easy-going guy and his label is the dynamo which p much dash is a ball of energy majority of the time on the pitch and off he’s p much a blur color 

he's open to talking to p much anyone unless you manage to piss him off but even then it's just like a puppy barking at u and trying to be intimidating like what are u doin ur not intimidating but his gregarious nature is what got him voted as prom king

he talks to p much everyone and enjoys conversation but is stubborn af so chances are you won’t change his mind on something or win an argument unless he’s just tired and is all sur…e jan

i feel like i'll have to explain this since it kinda goes against the current of some of his connections but i envision dash as bisexual with a preference for men but with some attraction to women so like 89% he's attracted to men but the other 11% is his attraction to girls

but like i can see his connections with muse 4 and muse 6 being ones where he was attracted to girls but kind of...set him back a bit ?? i'm not sure how to word it with what i have in my head but like reinforced his attraction to boys more and was like wow boys are much simpler and less of a jigsaw puzzle

li…ke he can appreciate boobs but a vagina is off the table majority of the time it’s like there’s a gnome down there and thinks dicks are a+ but given his parents are complete homophobes he’s closested and doesn’t see coming out as bisexual in the near future but he 100% wants to one day

like his parents know he’s v much more of a democrat and stands for issues they’re against and while his dad is >:~( he’s down with his political views and long as he doesn’t fit in with them…like he can support lgbtq+ community as long as he isn’t queer which

it also doesn’t help that soccer is a hyper-masculine sport so he really hasn’t told anyone but it’s not like he’s struggling with accepting that he’s bisexual since he went through that phase junior year and is full past denial and is 100% with the idea but it’s more of the reaction and acceptance of others ??? idk so he keeps it on the dl and probs only his close friends know that he trusts

he’s a bit hyperaware of everything around him and a tad more sensitive than he should…like he cares what others think of him and is only worried of ppl finding out about his sexuality bc he doesn’t want them to define him by it so he has a bit of thin skin and wears his emotions on his sleeve 

so you’ll know when he’s annoyed or sad or anything else and gets kinda :-/ when ppl/teammates/friends make ignorant comments about being queer or the lgbtq+ community or say no homo at things

but yeah he generally wants to get away and goes on the road trip to get a breather from his dad who's been on his ass 24/7

so he’ll be that asshole up at five in the morning bc he’s so used to getting up to practice with his dad or go running but he tries to be quiet but he probably fails since he’s a bit restless from not moving

so yeah !! that’s my special snowflake for u all i hope u all love him like i do and i need to heat up some nachos so feel free to message me for our plots if i take too long but i’ll message u guys in a bit !!

   ❝---it’s a bit bullshit, yeah ? like, they’re there for support & you trust them to help you out when you can’t manage to do it yourself. i mean---i know they’re belt hoops & meant only for belts and not constant tugging to get your pants up but they shouldn’t rip out of the hem. mine did that this morning on my favorite pair of skinny jeans & i just feel like that’s the ultimate betrayal. ---that’s a lie, nevermind. pulling a spongebob & ripping your pants is the biggest betrayal of pants with the belt hoops ripping coming in a close second. but still !❞
