I hate it when people say England has no culture 😭

I don't BLAME people for saying that when a lot of it has been eroded, and our country focused too much on religion in the past for it to remember to preserve our own traditions, but culture still exists here! I'm from Rural North England, and because it's Rural, not as much cultural erosion has happened, so a lot of our traditional dresses, celebrations and music has remained.

Granted, it's harder to find them these days, but they still exist and you still encounter them from time to time, like in our village parade, or the streets of the nearby town! Plus there's also culture related to the local geology (yes he's bringing up rocks again), because we're situated on some of the major coal seams of Britain, so a lot of celebrations related to coal appeared

So unfortunately I have become one of those men that talks about their boyfriend all the time, I can't help it, 3 years of being single and a couple unhealthy relationships really made me appreciate my man since he treats me in such a healthy and correct way (plus we practically live together)

It's not like I depend on him to live, but he makes a lot of things nicer or easier, so it hard to not start appreciatively yapping.

Ah how I wish this could be me if I did not have a reptile who has very strong feelings about any situation.

This is Macbeth. He is a 3 and a half year old dipshit veiled chameleon. Chameleons are notorious for their sassy nature, and he is no different. He won't like you when he meets you, but he may be quiet about it. However, if you are wearing the wrong colour of shirt, he will show his distaste to it with a hiss. If you have a name he dislikes, he will also hiss. Wrong facial expression? Hiss.

Infact, the only exceptions are people with bears and people that feed him. Him liking people that feed him makes sense, but we have not figured out the beard things. He loves climbing people with beards, he loves grabbing their beards, and he will gladly sit on you if you have a beard.

Now of course not every interaction ends in him hissing. If it's warm outside, the Macbeth may be pleased with existence enough to tolerate humans. Or if I look like an excessive dipshit that day, the interaction may end with my thumbnail being bitten through (true story).

His mind is a little chaotic and he is clearly an opinionated man. If he were to be a British person, he'd be the 30 year old kethead you meet in a Wetherspoons on some random encounter.

I love my son.

I love visiting people who have some kind of pet reptile because they're always like "would you like to hold the reptile" and I'm like "of course I would" and then the rest of the conversation happens with me just holding a random reptile and the reptile Has No Feelings about the situation. They always just sit there, probably vaguely wishing to return to their heat lamp but clearly exuding an energy of This Might As Well Happen. and then I put it back in its enclosure and go home and the reptile very clearly has no strong feelings about the situation.

I might be one of these mfs but it's not even with a character, it's with a song.

I based my name off Jigsaw Puzzle. I full comboed it on Hard on Project Diva on switch and steam deck. I'm learning the expert chart now. I made English lyrics that fit the rhythm of the song so they could be sung. I started hallucinating this song in my sleep. I must've played the chart at least over 200 times now. I used to have 6 different covers of this song on my playlist.

I am the number one Jigsaw Puzzle fan.

I like when people like a character so way too much that it transcends even self shipping or kinning and becomes more of a patron saint that you pray to type of deal
