in your fic willowden, is jungkook older than jimin? i just got the impression that he was older based on the way he reacts to jimin and treats him, plus the fact that jimin only just turned 18 whereas jungkook doesn’t go to school. I get that a lot of writers like to leave things up for interpretation but it’s been on my mind for a while xx

Actually, he is 😊 I had meant to mention it but overlooked it as the fic went on and was looking for a good place to throw it in. In the rewritten version you guys will learn that from the beginning though. Thanks for asking!

i dont know if you've ever talked about the jikook dance practice of own it and if you did have you noticed the amount of times that jimin changed his jacked to hide his very apparent boner.

I haven’t talked about Own It yet, but if I did it would be about the dancing. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t agree that Jimin has a ‘very apparent boner’.

Men are varied, of course, but I’ve danced with many in my life. Many many. It’s pretty commonly understood that maintaining a boner while exerting a lot of energy and focus while dancing like that would be very difficult without having direct sexual stimulation. And even that would be tricky. That’s just the physiology of it.

So what’s going on there?If you hadn’t noticed (Lol) Jimin has huge thighs. His quads and hamstrings are very developed in proportion to his frame. When someone like this wears form-fitting pants they can be very restrictive. Too much movement will pull the waistband right down the moment you bend in half or at the knees. The remedy for this is to hoist more fabric above the thigh so there is slack in the fabric at the hip where there is the most movement. This means that fabric bunches up near the crotch, which can give the appearance of bulge happening with no actual bulge underneath.

This happens to women a lot as well since it has been culturally/socially appropriate for them to wear form-fitting trousers for much longer in modern history than men. Most of you have probably experienced this. You’re wearing tight jeans and sit down. If you haven’t hiked your pants up a bit, you might accidentally moon someone behind you as the fabric strains down over your buttocks. In front, the fabric gathers at your crotch. If you smartly hitch your pants up a bit before sitting, you avoid putting your crack on display, but there is even more fabric bunched up in front. Women in Kpop avoid this by wearing uncomfortably tight pants that don’t grant any allowance for gathering, hot-pants/shorts, or avoiding it entirely with skirts.

I believe this is what’s happening with Jimin here. He’s wearing a belt at the waist, which ensures that stays in place, but he would be fighting the tight fabric around his hip/thigh if he didn’t pull up some slack.

This isn’t the only video where you can see this on Jimin. Just about any time he’s wearing tight pants, without a long shirt, and dancing or moving a lot, you’ll see this. The behind-the-scenes of his solo-shoot for the Lie short film is an example. His shirt is long enough to cover his crotch most of the time, but not always. He’s working very intensely here and completely focused on getting a perfect professional take. He’s also probably in a somewhat dark head-space to effectively express the lyrical quality of the piece. Not likely to be aroused.

In my view, it’s a bunching issue, not a boner issue.If we appreciate Jimin wearing tight pants and we appreciate him dancing, we must also accept the bunching! Embrace the bunching!

Feel free to let it fuel your fic and fantasies, but I don’t see the reality of it that way.

Gosh, I could watch the Own It video all day long. The perfect example of KM’s different dance training and styles. Beautiful. ^^

Don’t worry you’re not bothering me :) Yes, I’ve been working on Willowden a lot lately. I just got past two/three of the scenes that have been giving me trouble, and the last one is just supposed to be a short one to set up stuff for the next chapter, so I’d say an update is coming very soon :)

Fellow KM geeks, I’m searching for a particular clip for a future post. It was a BTS photoshoot. Probably post-2015. Around the BST era seems likely, but it could be earlier. Maybe for a magazine? They were all wearing nice clothes, not super formal, but fashionably regal perhaps? All sitting. Front row might have been on the ground and the back row on chairs or cushions behind?

I don’t think this was visible from the actual photos, but there was a behind-the-scenes clip taken by a camera-guy off to the side of the room where they’re taking pictures. From that viewpoint, you can see Jimin, who was sitting behind, had his fingers tucked into the collar of Jungkook’s shirt at the back of his neck.

I’ve been searching for this for months. Anyone know the shoot/clip?

How I Met My Mugger: Jimin owns a flower shop in a really bad part of town. He claims it’s his way of adding beauty to chaos, of making something positive in a really negative place. He knows it’s dangerous, but if he can make even one person’s day with his beautiful floral arrangements, it’s worth the risk.

Jungkook is a street rat. He ran away from home at 15 and ever since, he’s never stopped running…until now. His hyung, Yoongi, has convinced him to settle down and attend art school. One problem: he can’t afford it and gets in debt with some really rough types. When they call him on it, he does something really drastic: he mugs a local shop owner in the hopes of getting enough for his past-due payment.

Unfortunately, that shop owner is Jimin and it does not go smoothly. What will Jimin do to catch the criminal responsible for mugging him? What will Jungkook do to make amends?

This is the story of how Jimin ultimately met (and fell in love with) his mugger.

So when Jungkook chose the question in the Interview randomly and jimin looked over to read it:

He’s like: great and interesting question bae, I’m waiting… I MEAN JUST LOOK AT THEM

Jimin being all smug and smiles and anticipating JKs answer, and Jungkook getting a little red.

Also this look he gave Jimin just before answering … I feel like Jungkook could have brushed this question off like he sometimes does with a simple answer but after seeing Jimin looking forward to his answer so much his mind went blank and we ended up with this beautiful moment

You say you can't distinguish if it is an established romantic relationship or a close friendship with some attraction. While I am a cynical person who almost always airs on the side of caution I have to disagree here. I would consider Taekook the latter hence why Taekookers are so a adamant in their (quite frankly very loud) beliefs they are a couple. Even I admit Taekook can be intimate, but it's is drastically different to Jikook. Even I have noticed and that's saying something.

You are welcome to disagree. Disagreement keeps us all honest here. If it would be helpful to use V/Kook as a comparison to clarify my position, I’ll do that.

When I observe KM, I see every indication that they could be in an established romantic relationship AND every indication that they have a deeply bonded friendship (with some attraction). This is why I use the word ‘indistinguishable’. Both of these possibilities are completely likely in my view.

When I observe V/Kook, I see minimal/no indication that they could be in a romantic relationship and ONLY strong indications that they are excellent friends.

Does that help at all? There’s a huge gap in difference there from my perspective.

You are more than welcome to consider KM are in a romantic relationship. That discussion is ongoing on tumblr all the time. Many great blogs do this. The purpose of this blog is to explore a skeptical perspective about KM from someone that does believe they have special chemistry (instead of an anti just throwing hate).

For me, love and friendship have complete overlap. If you are my friend, I love you. If I love you, you are my friend. These words have very different meanings and uses for different people. To me, it is clear as crystal that KM are friends AND love each other. Romance is the term that is separate for me and indicates a different kind of relationship. Like I hope I made clear above, KM’s status is indistinguishable to me between love/friendship with romance OR love/friendship without romance.

This is totally compelling and rather mind-blowing to me, so I like to talk about it.

I missed the memo about ‘Satellite’ being defined as only one thing, apparently.I personally identify as a Satellite because I recognize, love, and appreciate the way KM revolve around each other like satellites.

‘Belief’ is a very sketchy word. It means many things. I believe in KM like I believe in gravity and the sun and the moon. They exist and have special innate qualities in regard to each other. What I’m doing on this blog is presenting an agnostic and skeptical perspective to challenge fellow KM supporters, bounce unusual questions off each other, encourage non-toxic shipping behaviors, and show examples of critical thinking being applied to a fandom community.

None of this is necessary or needs to be heeded by anyone. It’s simply the little niche I’ve carved out for myself, because I enjoy it.

If that’s not what you want to see or read, I suggest ignoring or blocking my blog. This might sound harsh in cold internet text, so imagine me giving you a hug and a smile as you read it. You might be looking for coffee, but I only have tea to serve. So I’ll send you to the awesome little coffee shop down the street instead and wish you well! I don’t want you to be sad, my dear!
