Park Jimin: International Man of Mystery

"They seek him here, they seek him there.." but where is Jimin and where will he be in 24 hours - Paris or Seoul?

Let's look at the facts. The last time we saw him was his live on the 15th June so a week ago, at least by UK time. He was bubbling over with excitement that day. Super happy, super ready to spend quality time with ARMY. He even put us in his pocket.

Then there were a series of messages on Weverse including this one that had the jikook maths bods mathing like crazy and then........

nothing, nada, 무.

Okay that's not quite true. We did get a recording for the festa 2023 event on the 17th and he posted on Weverse hoping the 400,000 people visiting the park would get home safely.

Then yesterday the guitarist that performed Dear.ARMY with Jimin posted on Instagram and we got another glimpse of our cutie.

Finally, JM posts his invitation to the Dior Show in Paris tomorrow (those flowers are stunning by the way).

Well that show happens in just under 19 hours and the flight takes a similar time so unless Jimin really did manage to skip under the radar and take a private jet to Paris in the last week it seems unlikely we will see him there.

On another note, JK arrived back in Seoul today. So could it be that we will indeed get everyone attending at least one of the Agust D concerts this weekend. I know, based on the last six to eight months, most people aren't very hopeful of seeing jikook together before enlistment but I can't help thinking it would be nice seeing everyone out supporting Suga as he wraps up his tour.

I just saw the posts about that person on Twitter having a meltdown over Jimin saying one half sentence about JK, and talk about being fucking psychotic.

I really wish I knew how old these people truly are, because wishing fans a happy holiday and saying they’re both doing well, is not grounds for that person to have reacted the way they did. Multiple tweets about Jimin being an attention seeker and saying he needs to trust JK’s choices, AS IF THEY KNOW JUNGKOOK PERSONALLY!

And that is the real and true kicker, lmao! They are pissed and want Jimin to respect Jungkook’s decision to not update on his own Weverse, as if it’s them sat next to him at the base being told what he’s feeling. As if Jimin is a million miles away, when in reality, it is PARK JIMIN who is sat next to him, talking to him, being told how JK feels and getting told yes or no on whether or not JK wants to be mentioned on Jimin’s Weverse.

These people live in absolute delusion. They only know what they know about JK, because of what he himself and the band has told us about him. We get secondhand knowledge, meanwhile Jimin is all up and throughout his life. Shipping aside, Jimin knows Jungkook in real fucking life. How do they not get that?!?

Hoping, wishing and praying your service time is uneventful, drama-free, that you stay safe and healthy. I hope you meet a lot of amazing people who will learn just how very amazing YOU are.

I hope that if you do have to deal with stressful and shitty situations or people, that you can take it in, work through them, learn from them and move on.

Knowing you will be together with Jungkook, helping each other through it all, is one of the most reassuring things for us to know.

What you two have chosen to do won't be the easiest route through this required time but knowing a little bit about both of your personalities, you will both meet the challenges, work hard and go above and beyond, setting standards for the rest of those around you (heh heh, sorry for those guys, right? they better learn to keep up).

Be yourself unapologetically. Don't worry about what anyone thinks... IF YOU ARE PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE, that's all that matters.

When it's time, when you can, take a look on your phone and you will see us still here cheering you on. We're right here, all the time.
