Let’s talk about Park Jimins work ethic for a bit today. My boy has one of the strongest work ethic I’ve seen in this industry and I don’t think it’s appreciated enough.

Exhibit A, During the love yourself tour he had his back locked and was having muscle pain but on his birthday show, he did his best. He really danced like he wasn’t in pain. The only time I saw any proof of his suffering was when he was limping off stage and that too, at the end of the entire fucking concert. He changed his choreographies slightly and that’s all he did. He didn’t slow down and did not get on  a chair even though he should’ve because Jungkook was already not in the performances and they couldn’t afford to not have JM performing too. He deadass performed the whole show with not the slightest of discomfort on his face when merely hours before the show he couldn’t even turn his neck in the videos Hobi posted. He skipped the graham norton show just to perform a whole show with intense choreographies and continuous singing for someone who had trouble moving his head hours prior. Look at his smile like he isn’t hurting with every move he makes.

Exhibit B, Jimin being the small clumsy mochi he is falls a whole lot of times but the take here is that every time he falls on stage, it takes him less than 0.2 seconds to get up and re enter the choreography like he didn’t just fall straight down and hurt himself. The way he never stops mid choreography to even regain his composure and just dives right into formation and continues dancing like nothing happened. 

Exhibit C, The many many times BTS have said that Jimin is the most hardworking member of the group which is so evident in the way he constantly strives to be better even though there isn’t really room for improvement left for him. He has burned out his body practicing to the point where he himself said that at one point he literally used to eat and sleep in the practice rooms. Time and again he simply says, “I’ll try more for you guys as I’m still lacking” and God knows every time he says that all I want to do is just tell him that he really doesn’t need to try that hard altogether. What he is as a person, a performer and as an artist will always be way more than enough.

Exhibit D, The wings tour in Macau when he had to sit out because of his chronic muscle pain and all the time he was sitting you could see the damn need in his eyes to just get up and perform. The way his eyes were literally following the choreography cause all he wanted was to get up on stage and do what he was born for. The way Namjoon and Taehyung kept looking over him in performances to make sure he isn’t hurting for him to eventually get up during spring day and with not a care in the world perform the song like nothing ever happened.

Exhibit E, Today, when he got injured on stage and couldn’t even do the choreography properly to the point where he was just standing and moving his hands and was badly limping when he got off the stage after pre recording and now he is out there performing on that Gwanju stage like his body isn’t begging him to stop. Now, I for one am not romanticizing his pain and saying that it is amazing how he works so hard. NO, I’m fucking furious at how he is out there performing when all he should be doing is resting right now. My man is literally limping off stage and y’all are making him perform days before the BBMAs when he has to do all these rigorous schedules. The fact that they have to go to these crusty ass award shows and do these schedules when all they should be doing is resting just makes me so mad but at the same time, it’s so fucking commendable that he is out there smiling, dancing and performing like the legend he is even though he is in so much pain. It just makes me so proud that he is out there doing what he does best; performing like his life depends on it. 

Ugh, WE DON’T DESERVE. WE REALLY DON’T.

His beautiful body is littered with bruises from all the pain he has put himself through but when you look into his eyes all you see is the love he has for army and the sheer dedication and willpower that makes him Park Jimin, one of the greatest performers of his time.

Armys? I really think it’s about time y’all get your shit together and realise that the only reason Jimin stans are so damn protective of him is cause some of you, you know exactly who, y’all come for him in the worst ways possible.

Y’all say he is a hopeless anorexic, say he’s a pig and he should starve himself, say his voice doesn’t deserve to be in BTS and to the best of it, some of you wish death on him. What ever did he do to y’all to have so much fucking hate for a man who has spent years and years trying to be the best version of himself FOR you just for y’all to pick apart every single one of his insecurities and set him to flames when all he ever did was be an absolute fucking angel to every single one of your biases. I’m beyond the point of trusting any one of you when it comes to defending him.

You don’t need to love him, you don’t even need to like him but for fucks sake would you just stop tearing him apart. Would you stop tearing him down like he’s nothing because everytime y’all do that we are desperately praying that he picks the pieces up. Taehyung stans, I’m not even angry at this point? I’m practically begging for y’all to leave this man alone. You don’t need to tear Jimin down to raise Tae up you know? You really don’t need to.

All he has ever done is give out pure love and respect for him to be called all these things he clearly isn’t. I’ll say it with my whole ass chest that Park Jimin is the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen in my entire 22 years of existence and even if you don’t feel the same way there’s literally no need for y’all to beat him into the ground just cause you’re jealous and insecure. Let him be? If you don’t like him JUST.LET.HIM.BE. There’s no need for y’all to voice your mf opinions about how my boy should look like or how he should eat and live. He’s doing fine on his own and with the love of people that genuinely care for him, we don’t need your crusty asses trying to tell him what he needs to do. Just, maybe fuck off yeah? Fuck right off and don’t say anything if you don’t have something good to say. He doesn’t owe you shit, never has, never will.

This is your bias himself saying that Jimin is the one who supported him through his hardships and always accepts him for who he is and if that isn’t the soulmate we all deserve then what is?

How do you have the chest to say that you bias Taehyung when you degrade his best fucking friend? When you as his fans couldn’t be there for him, when he lost his family and countless other times when he was down, guess who was physically there for him, holding him till it’s all better? How are you physically capable of talking shit about JM very well knowing that everytime your bias has been hurt, Jimin was there being the rock Taehyung needed.
