…Hi!

I’m just typing out into the void for now… It’s been a long time and so much has changed! I know I left this blog over 5 years ago and it’s pretty much inactive on my part these days… but I think I’ve caught the Writing Bug.

I’ve spent a lot of my time recently reading — books, my own works, other fanfics, pretty much anything and everything — and it’s made me realise I miss writing… a lot (although I haven’t written since I left here). I’m so excited to catch up on multiple fics and read new ones and hopefully, eventually, start writing again and be part of such an amazing community of creatives.

I hope my works can continue to inspire others and while I don’t think I’ll be 100% active just yet, I’ll definitely be around. Hopefully I can get back to writing at some point once the creative juices really get flowing. I plan to update some works on my AO3 but not sure about here, so feel free to check it out ^,^

I guess I’m also looking for new moots — or if we used to be moots and you’re still around, please say hi! — and new creatives to follow! If you know any good creatives (artist, writer etc.), are one yourself or have any recommendations of the following, please let me know! (Will be tagging multiple tags for outreach, sorry!)

Hello! I found your account while i was searching for echowriters tumblr account. At first i was wondering why that acct deactivated suddenly and i thought maybe they change their handle so i googled it up and that led me to your site and i was so shock to found out they plagiarized one of your work. So sorry this happened to you. And the bright thing I can get from this mess is i found another great writer! It seems I'm late because u seems to be inactive nowadays but better late than never :D

at the grown age of 22, plagiarising; amazes me to see that people think they can still do this shit and get away with it. glad to see its been taken down, hope no one else’s work was stolen. if you’re having to steal from other writers maybe you should consider a different hobby.

[9:45pm] “hey, hey, hey,” Jungkook whispers, gently holding your face in his hands, tipping your chin up to look him in the eyes. Your own are red and damp, ready to release the next bout of waterworks.

“I’m fine,” you lie, a wobbly smile plastered across your lips. You hold his knowing gaze for what feels like forever, watching as his eyes read every crease in your frown. You both stand in silence, waiting for the other to give in, before you finally crumble. “I’m just– tired–”

His arms are open wide long before you tumble into them, instantly feeling at ease and at home in his embrace. He softly reassures you with gentle words and immediately you feel as if a weight has lifted off your shoulders, the much needed hug doing wonders for your mood.

“It’s just been... such a long week and I know I’ve been short recently and the stupid argument we had earlier just keeps replaying in my mind and I–”

“You’ve been worrying about that?”

You nod timidly against his chest.

“Sweetheart, you know I love you,” he whispers, and although you’ve heard it a million times, the way he says it spreads a frisson of warmth all over your body. “And I know you’ve had it tough recently. I’m proud of you for getting through the hard days. The argument? It was stupid, already forgotten. It was nothing serious, just in the moment heat. We’re ok now. We’re ok.”

Your crying and sniffling eventually subsides and Jungkook’s chest vibrates against you ear as he quietly serenades you. You never quite let go of each other, locked in a permanent hug, your feet start to find their own rhythm. Your bodies sway to the silent music, imperfect but in time.

You close your eyes and listen, getting lost in Jungkook, never wanting this moment to end. All too soon, he kisses the top of your head and slowly pulls away. “How does an early night sound?”

You smile sheepishly and nod. “Sounds like heaven.” You squeeze his hand and hold on tight as he leads you down the hall.

“But I can’t get the steps right,” you mutter a little sadly.

Jongup leans in and kisses the crook of your neck ever so tenderly, lingering a little longer than he’d like to admit. “What if,” – another kiss, this time higher – “I kiss you,” – behind your ear – “to the tempo of the music? Would that help?”

You smile and nod as he nestles into your neck, peppering kisses all over your skin. “It would help a lot.”

[10:34pm] your moans get swallowed up in his kiss, your bodies singing in harmony, pushing and pulling against each other. Your hands fist his chestnut locks, your legs getting caught up in the sheets.

But your heart lurches when the mattress dips in a place it shouldn’t, startling you out of your spell and right out of your skin. Changkyun jolts too, seemingly spooked as well.

He pulls away hurridley as you distance yourself from the unknown threat, only to realise in the same split second that it had only been the cat. She sits prim and pretty on the edge of the mattress, eyes wide and unaware of what she had just interrupted.

“Shoo,” you laugh, waving her off the bed with one hand, Changkyun’s face still cupped in the other. “Scram!” You feel the apples of his cheeks lift as he laughs at himself for being so jumpy.

You huff out a breath of relief as she darts out of the room and wipe the sweat from Changkyun’s forehead, a giggle erupting from your chests at your silliness. Changkyun dives down again, stealing kisses and laughs from the tip of your tongue. His tittering turns into a smirk as you both find rhythm again, your bodies pressed closer together than ever before.
