Still remember one of my best experiences in Oyo  state was when while there, I I visited Viva Cinemas. I have to say, twas much doper than I expected. Not that it was a village environment at all, but I guess I just didn’t put my mind to it. The complex was quite lush, with a lobby that had a glass wall allowing you to overlook the  town. Oh and the lobby was very much a relaxation centre of its own if you decided not to see a movie.
I guess it’s safe to say that the complex was built with more than just a movie viewing hall in mind. As I walked around before my movie started, I observed that there was a fun arena with different stuff for kids and a hoard of restaurants where one could get some nice meals.
If you ever visit the city of Ibadan, then you should check out Viva.
You can book your flights to Oyo state or anywhere else on fly.africa or Azman Air

So I have news; I finally located a top notch facility where I can have all the fun chills I want...indoors! I think it’s stylish that the complex is named Funtopia. Another cool thing I like is that the complex is located on the Expressway. I know it doesn’t sound like a good thing, but then don’t you think an on-your-way-out-of-town fun complex would really give you ‘space’ for fun? I think so!
With different facilities and fun equipment, I practically lost track of time. Did I mention there’s a pool? So you might want to pack swimming suits when you visit.
Just in case you loose track of time. Not to worry. There are couple of hotels I observed around the area where you can spend the night.
You can also book your flights on fly.africa or Azman Air

Planning an evening out? Or looking for some dope afro pop music? Then freaking keep reading!
So my friends and I took a ride out to this dope location. It’s called Ember Creek. This place is the zone as far as afro and pop music is concerned. Plus the fact that it is a restaurant makes it better. Cos you can also eat fine food as you party. The place transforms to a lively party hive in the evenings or more especially on weekends. With a solid sound system, the music will sip it’s way down your soul.
I had a great time that night even as we partyed into the wee hours of the morning. When the party ended, we lodged at The George Hotel. Although, there are some other hotels around the area you can check out like; Somerset Court, Precinct Comfort, and a couple of others.
You can also book flights to various places in the country through fly.africa and Azman Air

So my company decided to take the entire staff on a fun day out. Wasn’t a bad idea though....until we heard they picked out a museum to take everyone to!. Even though we were quite disappointed we weren’t going to the beach, we did good to hide our disappointments. We were actually getting it all wrong, because as soon as we arrived at Esie Museum. The designers or curators really did good thinking, cos as soon as you enter the compound, you begin to see different types of art.
I was lucky I had a full battery, so I just kept on taking pictures. The tour guide was actually quite skillful..with words I mean. Because she was able to answer our questions with some grace. If you’ve ever dealt with office people you’d get. Anyways, I think the experience was more than we could have gotten at any beach plus we treated ourselves to some nice dishes at the facility grounds.
Twas a nice day all in all. And you could also  check it out when you have chance to. By the way, have I told you Azman Air is a really good airline to fly with?

One memory so dear to my heart is the one I spent with my friends a few months back. We had some free time and we decided to take a trip to the amusement park in Apapa. The structures there are just amazing. Built in fine Arabian style architecture, it has an Adult Games arena, Children Games area, Kart Racing track, Gardens, Restaurant and Coffee Shop, Snack Bars, Fountain and Seating Area. There is the disco ride for adults and it can take about 24 persons per ride. There are bumper cars for adults and children, carousels, the rockets, pirates’ ship and the spinner for children.
One of the best words to use is ‘breathtaking’, cos well..durhh! You need to actually visit the park to understand what I actually mean.
Around Apapa, just in case you feel like lodging, you can check out Becfom Hotels, Carliza Hotel, Rockview Hotels Ltd, and of course a couple of others.

I’m not really a beach person, maybe because I’ve had a couple of bad experiences at some. Ranging from a dirty shoreside to just deplorable beach standards. But Eleko Beach was not bad at all when I visited earlier this year. I mean I could actually walk around without worrying about looking down..if you know what I mean.
One of the reasons Eleko Beach isn’t so popular is because it’s located quite a ways from central Lagos. The distance aside, Eleko Beach is easy to get to. All you need do is follow Lekki – Epe Expressway for 49 km and turn right on Eleko Beach Road. After 5 minutes on Eleko Beach road, you’ll reach the beach’s gate.
It’s quite experience to have, especially with that special someone. When you are in the area, like i did, you could also check out some dope hotels in the area. You could check out ones like; The Lilygate Hotel, Citi Lodge Hotel, Nostro Suites and a couple of others.
You can also book flights to Lagos and other states through Azman Air and fly.africa.

Let me share a lovely memory with you that might just make your day and probably give you an idea when plan your own uhmm..Let me not spill just yet. So I took this pretty girl I met out on a date to a restaurant I hadn’t gone to before. Seems like a careless gamble right? Well, fortunately for me, Cactus Restaurant didn’t disappoint in any way. Like I had to struggle to stop myself from giving away the fact that I was also a JJC!
From the beautiful scenery that is overlooking the Lagos lagoon to the waterside that has this seductive breeze, I just knew I had totally got this girl on lock! Although I then got scared that I might have to break my bank for such a place, that wasn’t the case. Because their wide variety of dishes is quite rich and full of lovely quality dishes. This restaurant just proved to be the top dog in romantic affairs I tell ya!
You definitely should plan to visit for that special evening out. While in the area you could also check out The Federal Palace Hotel. I think you would love their nice environment too, just in case you wanna lodge after dinner.

Sat back yesterday and I was thinking of a good way to  spend my next vacation. Of course it’s gonna involve my friends. And somehow my mind went back to our last outing. So we took a drive down to Elegushi Beach which is located on the island. Twas a real sunny day, so it was definitely gonna be one for the books! Twas really nice seeing the ocean..or rather swimming in it!! Lol.. cos we hardly even unpacked before we jumped in!
The beach was quite busy that day but we were able to get horse rides around. And the horses actually looked well kept. Before then though, I had joined a conversation a Nairaland forum to get general views on the beach. Right now I can’t deny that I’m not planning another escapade on the island. But I guess I might just weigh my options for now. It’s a nice beach for you to check out. You could go with friends too.
If you aren’t in the city of Lagos, you could book a flight to Lagos with Azman Air or fly africa

So I went out today and passed by an Agofure Motors park. Then this certain automobile caught my eye! Being a sucker for machines, I had to come back to take a look..a closer one. And I wasn’t wrong in my head cos the bus looked like the new dope Scaniar Irizar! This bus has so many features, it easily dusts some cars around! By now you now I’m probably thinking; why haven’t these guys risen to the pinnacle of road transport!
I’m certain they are on their way there though, and with improving their all other aspects of their services and what-not, the future looks good for them. Right now, I gathered their transport covers almost all the states in the country. Some of which include; Abuja, Lagos, Imo, Abia, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Cross Rivers, Jos, to mention a few.
You could also book your flights to any state through fly.africa or Azman Air.

So it took my quite awhile to realize that the word “spar” is actually German! Lol.. Well, I guess if you probably didn’t know, or if you did then, my bad! Took a trip to Spar Nigeria with some folks and I was quite impressed with their stock up. Looked very top notch. Their stores offer groceries, baked goods, fruits, vegetables, wines, spirits, watches, jewellery, electronics and lots more, all in one place! That saves a lot of stress if you ask me. Plus, with their wide collection of stores in different parts of the country, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t have to travel far to find one.
I also joined a Spar discussion on a nairaland forum and found out that they also perform or run other off-base activities and functions. You could check it out tho..
