My Classy Legend of Zelda Wedding…

~BRIDE AND GROOM~

The groom wore a morning jacket, custom suit (Made by Trillium) with a custom emerald green, double breasted vest with a tiny gold, stud triforce on the back (Made by Steamtropolis) and Hylian shield cufflinks (Bought off Etsy).

The bride wore a Casablanca Couture gown that was customized with 180 organza flowers (with rhinestones or glass bead centers - all hand stitched by the bride) and a big taffeta sash bow with mini Navi wings by @fancyfairywings on the back. The bride made her own silk tulle veil. The tiara was inherited from her grandmother.

These little details were our subtle ways to show love for our Legend of Zelda cosplays (Link and Navi) - which are the only reason why we even met.

My Classy Legend of Zelda Wedding...

~Reception Ballroom~

The tables turned out beyond perfect. I planned everything with the help of my groom and it all came magically together! The flower arrangements were done by The Ruins. Fairies designed by me (the bride), assembled by my bridesmaids. Red glitter hearts by the groom. Rupees by Jady. Napkins folded by me. Reception programs made by me and my mom. There were both tall and short center pieces. The tall ones had moss and a red heart in the bottom. The cylinder was filled with a gold branch that had hand made fairies  randomly attached. (see video of it in action here) The short arrangements had three fairy jars around them and red hearts sticking out of the arrangements. The table was then dusted with red, heart shaped, satin petals and had rupees scattered around. Programs were placed under the napkins which were folded to look like the bow on the back of my dress.

Needless to say... we did NOT get all of our rupees and fairy jars back >.>

~ Centerpieces ~

A video of one of our high centerpieces (there were 4 high and 4 low) at our reception.

~The Cake~

Our wedding cake!

The venue made the cake for us. It’s a German chocolate with buttercream (glitter) frosting.

The groom made the cake topper in the image of the bride and groom’s cosplays sitting on top of Epona.

We cut the cake with the Master Sword.

The groom wore a morning jacket, custom suit with a custom emerald green, double breasted vest with a tiny gold, stud trifoce on the back and hylian shield cufflinks.

The bride wore a Casablanca Couture gown that was customized with 180 organza flowers (with rhinestones or glass bead centers - all hand stitched by the bride) and a big tafta bow with mini Navi wings on the back. The bride made her own silk tulle veil.

The groomsmen’s colors where inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (with Green Link being the groom). The two groomsmen had triforce tie tacks, the best man had a life-heart-meter tie clip.

The bridesmaid’s colors were inspired by fairies in various Legend of Zelda games. The two bridesmaids wore trifoce necklaces, the MOH wore a heart container necklace.

The flower girl was miniature version of the bride’s Navi cosplay.

The Secret is OUT!

For the past couple of months my fiance and I have been working on bridesmaid boxes and they are finally done (and delivered) and they all said “yes!”
