AUGUST UPDATE

Greetings, fellow travellers! It is I, José, the project lead behind Life is Strange - Recursion! Firstly, happy Wednesday wherever you are. It's August, so I hope you've all managed to get some proper time in the sun (or snow, depending on your hemisphere). Though as the year slowly moves on, the closing of the casting moves ever closer! So far, we have 91 (yes, that's 91) submissions for all roles! Including Vanessa! Some of which are exceedingly good! Quite the task ahead of the production team, if I do say so myself. Shifting focus onto the script - revisions are underway for the majority of the episodes, taking into account notes and feedback from our illustrious author, CanadianCrow. These range from small-ish dialogue tweaks (it's a pain being a Brit, and having to write in American English), to pointing out where I blatantly pulled an all nighter to finish Episode 3. Turns out I like to repeat myself when I'm sleep deprived. Who'd have guessed? The last of the revisions should be complete in time for the end of casting, which gives our team a good month to get 'em done. Lastly, I present "The Pinboard". Keep an eye on this as we near the end of casting - this is where we'll be making the announcements public! Now, I'm off to rework dialogue for the... (checks notes) ...well, let's just say there's a lot.

Now, let's just hope Tumblr doesn't kill the quality :/

LiS: Recursion - Open Casting Call!

Life is Strange: Recursion is officially open for casting! Follow the link below to Casting Call Club, and try your hand at one of the open roles! Submissions close on SEPTEMBER 15th, so there's plenty of time to decide.

If you don't see a role you like - then fret not! The team are currently compiling a complete list of smaller roles and new OC's featured in Season One. To keep up to date, hop in our Discord server! It's a small, but very active community (full of some of the most eager and keen individuals I've had the pleasure of working with!) The complete list is due to be posted imminently - so keep your eyes peeled!

Despite being an audio drama, we've also been in the habit of commisioning a couple of artists - both within and without the LiS community! Here's the newest piece of artwork - featuring a Pre-Storm Max, Kristen, and Fernando - commisioned from the wonderful @meldy-arts!

I was doing a little research into the Max and Chloe's Vancouver extraviganza. Not only is the hostel based off an actual location, The Cambie Hostel, but the gd Cat is real too?!?

Alright, down below is a vent art comic, I had a healthcare two months ago I had to do an ultrasound and I wanna vent about it

Nora's asked to undergo additional tests because there is a concern regarding an area in her breast.

this is reopening old wounds for kat, shes too anxious/worried to sleep so she calls her big sister

After the test:

They're all traumatized by the summer of 95

It wasn't all painful tho, in this AU Kat underwent chemo and Nora visited her everyday in the hospital (Her hair is short cuz they all cut it all off for Kat)

Kat survived but it was traumatizing

after the surgery:
