Nobody could never say he wasn’t a good father!
bro the love jfk had for caroline and john is literally insane and it makes me so upset he couldn’t spend more time with them. i’m watching the candid films rn and he looks so happy to be around them. say what you want about him but that man adored his kids

JFK Jr and His then Girlfriend Christina Haag At the met Gala
“Christina liked the Met Gala, and she took him.… I think he was an unexpected guest, and he was miserable. There are pictures—she looks beautiful. We would joke about it: Christina made me go to the Met Ball.… That’s the kind of thing he didn’t wanna do.”

Today I remembered how John didn’t understand that his dad was gone and he would go up to anyone who was a man and tall and say “dad?”. After the funeral at the reception at the White House, Prince Philip was walking around and passed a room and saw John there playing and joined him and started playing along with him because he reminded him of his own sons. Jackie eventually came into the room and saw them playing and Philip quickly got up and explained what happened. Jackie was very appreciative because she knew it was a lot for a little boy to go through in 3 days and spend his birthday at his dad’s funeral.
