Actually Mycroft in RDJ! Sherlock Holmes is fat and quite strange, so we have at least one adaptation that showed him like that
Modern Sherlock Holmes adaptations I beg you please let Mycroft Holmes be weird and gay.
Stop making him the "normal" brother he's so strange, you guys.

I think it’s time we as a society admit the RDJ Sherlock Holmes movies were actually genius and super fun
They had a fun spin on Sherlock and Watson’s dynamic, they made Sherlock a bit 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 (which was always a win), the fight and action scenes were cool, and we got Sherlock in drag
10/10 absolutely ✨SHOWSTOPPING✨

I think every adaptation is queer, but for me the most queer one is Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, because it specifically highlights all the feelings Holmes has for Watson and how did his marriage affect him. Also there are quite a lot of hints to Sherlock Holmes' undeniable queerness, even though it wasn't said out loud.
(Also thanks for explaining the queerness in each adaptation)
Which adaptation of Sherlock Holmes is the most queer?

*not including House M.D. because it's not really an adaptation, or any overtly queer pastiches like My Dearest Holmes or The Adventure of the Furtive Festivity because that's not really a fair contest
#I really think Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes is the most queer one#And I hope it gets more votes#So sad that such a queer movie is voted by only 11 percent of people

Omg the last part....Holmes is sooo in love and Watson finally realises it....omg I'm crying😭😭😭😭

the BOSCOMBE VALLEY MYSTERY part 2 - part 1 here - there is a mention of Holmes reading Petrarch in this story and so naturally I went on a deep dive of some of the most TRAGIC AND ROMANTIC POETRY ABOUT DOOMED LOVE I HAVE EVER READ. BUDDY.
the 'deductions and inferences' bit I drew ages ago so it's in a different style! classic bitch moment.
One more part to come! This is in the Watson's Sketchbook series.
