Let's talk about Connor in the DLC --

For Teal Mask, most of the story stays the same. He befriends Carmine and Kieran, goes to the festival, meets Ogerpon, and helps her, yadda yadda.

However, he didn't feel right about keeping Ogerpon after he caught her in a Friend Ball. He more or less lets her stay outside of her Pokeball and in Kitakami where she belongs. With Ogerpon technically being caught, this also protects her from being captured by someone who just cares that she's special.

The Lousy Three, on the other hand, are a whole other story. Connor tracked them down and weakened them, capturing them all in dusk balls. Part of his role as a champion-ranked trainer means containing any threat when necessary. While they are under his trainer ID, he keeps them safe back at the Paldean League alongside the rival Koraidon's Pokeball.

As for Indigo Disk, Connor is merely studying there for a semester before returning to Paldea... while he did beat Kieran at the championship match, he turned down the title... he didn't feel right about being president of a club that he was only there for a semester. He knows Kieran is a strong trainer and deserves the title. After the events in the Zero Lab depths and he caught Terapagos, he gifts Terapagos to Kieran. Broken ball or not, Kieran caught him first. Connor feels wrong for taking the Pokemon away from Kieran despite being told to catch it by Kieran... he still visits Terapagos, though. He's just a little guy :)

As for Mochi Mayhem, Connor caught Pecharunt and is keeping an eye on them like the Lousy Three. However, Pecharunt isn't being kept at the league to keep them away from the Lousy Three and instead is in Connor's care.

Flick's just going to sniff at Ogerpon as she tilts her head.

Huh?

That's... odd. Connor's brow furrowed together before realizing what it was. A sigh escaped his lips.

❝ Oh, it's just you... Really? In my bag?? ❞
