Lawn Mowing - The Case for Electric Powered Mowing Machines
Although you may have wished to know about electric lawn mowers you may have been scared to ask.....until now!
If you are the type of person who desires a beautiful yard that is charming and the envy of the neighborhood but also have a conscience and a need to maintain the planet’s ecosystem by reducing your own carbon footprint an electric lawn mower may be something you’ll want to consider buying.

The Bigger the better ...right?!
Now if you own a big yard then this design may not be for you no matter how eco-friendly you want your lifestyle to be.However they are perfect for smaller yards with soft-bladed grass and even terrain.
An apparent advantage of an electrical mower is they aren't filthy pollutants like their gasoline counterparts.
Now when I say pollution I am not simply speaking smog, anyone who’s had a neighbor who possessed one of those noise poluting gas-fume pumping 6-am start 1000cc riding mowers knows what I mean when I talk about pollution.
But I digress.
Back to electric mowers.

Its not just about the air!
Noise pollution sucks just as much as crappy air.
Did you know that an electric mower, when compared to a gas-guzzler, is up to 75% more quiet.
Even though I’m sure you don’t give a red cent or bent dime what your neighbors think owning a nice quiet, and air friendly, electric mower may well be something your neighbors will end up liking about you most.
And, compared to their air polluting, noisy petrol powered counterparts, electric mowers are very affordable.
Usually an electric powered mowing machine costs about 56% less than a gasoline mower at standard retail prices and they are much cheaper to run.
Electrical mowers can also be more economical to use and maintain.
They actually cost only pennies to make use of. In certain year, the electrical lawn mower that is typical only costs about $3 in electricity. Another additional advantage is the way simple they are to use.
Aside from the occasional sharpening, electric mowers are more easy to keep than gasoline mowers. You simply plug in and go (or charge it and go if you go cordless).

You do not need to make do with dirty oil changes, you do not need to tune them and you if do not need to manage all the yanking it could take to get your lawn mower started just pick the push-button mower.
They are also a much safer option, because as a pet or parent owner the last thing you would like is for pet or your kids to get near the petrol.
Electrical Lawn Mowers - Pros as well as Cons
Electrical lawn mowers appear to get everybody interested, yet not every one is sure they are an incredible alternative.
We have made a decision to come up with a listing of the electrical lawn mowers pros and cons to aid you in determining if an electrical mower is mainly for you.
Don't forget, some of the disadvantages on this list are not for everybody, and only disadvantages for a lot of.
Consider pros and the cons before you jump in and buy an electrical mower.
It is vital that you make a buy like this, only when you've done your research and discovered it is the most suitable choice for your yard or you.

Pros
- ecofriendly
- Mulching/bagging choices
- Effortless start
- Usually can mow up to an acre of property
- Lightweight
- Quiet
- cheap
- Simple to steer
- Operation is comparable to gas powered
- No paying for oil or petrol for the mower
- No significance of expensive care
- Variation in voltage to meet with more needs
- Deck sizes change just like petrol mowers

Cons
- cord limitations on corded mowers
- battery life varies with grass type/condition
- might need back-up battery for larger lawns
- can only mow about an acre without recharging
- obstacles can limit mowing area due to cord
- less horsepower than gas mower
Electrifying Lawns
As you can see, electric mowers have a lot more pros than they do cons.
The only real con is that they suck at mowing large areas - they just don’t have the power.
If you are a normal person who doesn’t own a mansion or house in The Hamptons then an electric mower will probably have more than enough power to finish your lawn before it runs out of steam [i mean electric please don't try to use water in an electric mower :D ].

If you do live in The Hamptons then you probably hire immigrants to cut each blade of grass individually and you therefore don’t need a lawn mower.
If that’s the case ..... get off my blog...this is for poor people!
