Message from my mama Jody about the story *Blanco The Last of The Wolf Clan* Update:

"Sorry for being MIA for the last 8 to 9 months.. Life happened... Had to get my editing software issues resolved.. On top of that I've been busy being my mom's 24/7 caregiver and working through my mental health issues..

Once the editing software was fixed I resumed working on the story *Blanco The Last of The Wolf Clan* & Blanco's story *Blanco's Day Out*.

I will be posting *Blanco's Day Out* soon. It is 131 pages long of furry cuteness 🐾❤️

And I will resume posting *Blanco The Last of The Wolf Clan* soon too.. The first post back will be two chapters and after that it will be released every Friday 🤗❤️💯

Last I will let y'all know when I get the FREE membership club set up 🤗❤️💯 it is an exciting opportunity to be able to read chapters earlier than others, win prizes, receive the Adventurer's newsletter, and much much more! If enough people sign up, then I can go ahead and set up the website 😁👍

Gizmo's Monday feels 🤭🤣😴🐾❤️💯

(MOM UPDATE after Gizmo cuteness ⬇️⬇️⬇️)

Awe my sweet Gizmo fell asleep watching one of his favorite shows 📺😴💤😘😍🥰🐾❤️💯 I'm thinking he missed his TV shows more than he missed his mommy 🤣🐾❤️💯 while I was gone he spent the day with one of his favorite people and was spoiled with love 🤗😘🥰😍🐾❤️💯 when I got back and turned on the TV (after settling down) he was glued to his shows 📺🤣🐾💯 I don't know how to feel about this 🤣🤣🤣 he did love on me and everything first, but then it was like "Oooh my shows! 📺😍" 📺🤣🐾❤️💯 don't know what I'm going to do with the goober except love his cute furry butt 🤣🤔💭🤗😘🥰😍🐾❤️💯

It's been a long day... (mom was real moody at the clinic 😞 hoping after a good nap she's in a better mood 🙏❤️💯

MOM UPDATE:

The doctor sent in refills for meds.. Then talked to us about mom's walking slower, which he decided to assign mom to in-home therapy. He said her muscles have weakened from her not walking as much as she should & her arthritis didn't help the situation... Along with therapy she's going to have a nurse coming in to check on her & her meds.. 🧑‍⚕️💊

Then before he sent us to get mom's lab work, he decided to set up an appointment with a wound specialist for her leg marks. We will be called to find out when that is 🤔🩺

We went down to the lab and they took blood work 💉🩸🩹🧫🔬 But the trouble started when they wanted mom to do a urine test.. First she can't feel when she goes and second she is wheelchair bound when out of the house, and third she can't get up and down unless she has assistance.. The only place she can without assistance is her electric lift recliner. She even has trouble with assistant bars... 💯

So they had mom go into the bathroom ignoring me pointing out the problem 😤 She sat on the toilet with assistance.. Couldn't go and if she did, she couldn't feel it.. Then after mom gave up she was stuck on the toilet so the lady came back in and couldn't help mom up so she had to go get another nurse and an EMT to get mom back in the wheelchair 🙄😑 then we were leaving out of the lab when the nurse ran out to hand me the urine cup to try at home and then told me I need to tell the doctor they couldn't get a urine sample... Really??? Did you not see the trouble??? Do you not listen??? 😤🤦‍♀️

They didn't even try a catheter or other methods that are used for wheelchair bound and bedridden patients 🤷‍♀️ she didn't even want to hear my suggestions, but instead she repeated to tell the doctor the trouble 🙄😑💯 shouldn't a hospital be prepared? Shouldn't the doctor who knows his patient is wheelchair bound, put in the order to do so? 😤🤔💭⁉️💯

We headed back home and now mom is napping.. And I'm exhausted... 🥱😮‍💨💤

I'm going to go cuddle with my Gizmo and try to have a peaceful evening until mom wakes up 🐾😘🥰😍❤️🌃🌝🌟✨💯

MOM UPDATE:

Mom and I are going to her doctor in the morning (1st one in 2 years, if you exclude the online doctor visits where she got her medicine for only a months supply 😬) to get everything figured out and back on track... Wish us luck / keep us in your prayers and thoughts / send us lots of love and light 🧑‍⚕️🩺🙏❤️💯

Since mom couldn't leave the house cause she couldn't get down the outside steps... Her care coordinator finally put in the request for a medical ramp.. The ramp was built last month...so no more excuses to not to be able to go anywhere.. 🦽🔛💯

In this last year...

(One thing that never changes no matter the day, year, month, or time is mom being moody and narcissistic, but now it's a little extra 🫠🫥)

Mom has been walking slower, which is probably due to her not moving around and losing some muscle ability. 🚶‍➡️

She can't walk all the way to the walk-in shower so most of the time she gets sponge baths.. Which takes a while since she can't stand for a very long time 🫧🧼🧴🪒

She has also lost some ability to tell when she is going to the bathroom, so she has to have her depends changed every few hours... When she can tell she doesn't always make it to the bathroom...😞🚽🧻

She is becoming more forgetful, but not on serious level.. Just like she won't remember what was said the day before.. Sometimes she gets her days or time of day mixed up. Have to remind her of things.. 🤔💭📑

She's takes a lot more naps on and off through the day. I always check to see if she's snoring or breathing.. 😴💤

Try to have her do things on her own like making calls, using microwave, teach her how to use her tv, etc... Only thing she seems to be able to do or really wants to do independently is figuring out her tv.. Still going to try 🙏❤️💯

So in conclusion it's evident mom's getting older even if she doesn't want to admit it.. She has her good and bad days 🙏❤️💯

It's not easy and certainly isn't like Hallmark movies or those loving commercials make it seem... I've learned in the last 20 years taking care of her that I have to take one day at a time and hope for the best 🙏❤️💯

FROM GIZMO AND I WE WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY HANUKKAH AND A HAPPY NEW YEARS! MAY 2025 BE A GOOD YEAR!

Be the light to others who are in the DARK! 🕯️✨❤️💯 Remember it's ok to not be perfect.. We are all human after all! You have 365 chances this year to leave your mark and everyday starts a new 😉 and it's ok to just be living ❤️

Hanukkah this year was good🕯️❤️ Gizmo was fascinated by the menorah as usual lol.. Just glad I have an electrical one so his puppy nose doesn't get burnt. Also he gives chase to the dreidles and thought the little coins were edible 🤣🤣🤣 next Hanukkah I'll have to look intoaking edible Hanukkah dog treats 🤔🐶🐾❤️💯

My favorite thing about Hanukkah is lightning the menorah while doing the blessings, for it reminds me OF GOD'S TRIUMPH OVER DARKNESS AND OPPRESSION! THE MIRACLE OF THE MACCABEES WINNING WHEN THE ODDS WERE AGAINST THEM, CAUSE THEIR FAITH IN GOD WAS STRONG AND NOT SHAKEN! THEY WOULDN'T BOW DOWN TO THE EVIL TYRANTS, WORSHIP OTHER GOD'S, OR HAVE THEIR IDENTIES STRIPPED FROM THEM! THE SMALL, POORLY ARMED MACCABEES RECAPTURED JERUSALEM, CLEANSED THE TEMPLE, AND BUILT A NEW ALTAR. THEY WERE REDEDICATING THE TEMPLE TO GOD AND THEY ONLY HAD ENOUGH OIL TO LAST ONE NIGHT, BUT THEN GOD BLESSED THE OIL TO LAST 8 WHOLE DAYS! 🌟🙏❤️💯 IN GOD THERE IS ALWAYS VICTORY AND LIGHT IN THIS DARK WORLD! ❤️❤️❤️

2024 I'm thankful for...

I'm really thankful for my sweet boy Gizmo 😘😍🐾❤️ God gave him to me for the ups and downs 🙏🐾❤️ he has been my sunshine on cloudy days and my rock through the storms 🐾❤️ paw prints on my heart forever 😘😍🥰🐾❤️

I'm thankful for my loved ones, friends and family / friends who are family ❤️ couldn't imagine this last year without some friends God brought into my life and blessed me with 🙏❤️ he really knew what I needed 🙏❤️

I'm thankful for the roof over my head and having the things I need 🙏❤️ wishing though I could share that with the ones who are in real need 🙏❤️ I will count my blessings and do what I can when I can with what I have 🙏❤️ *Be Where Your Feet Are*🙏❤️

I'm thankful things are starting to progress for my mom.. She was approved for her ramp and once it's built she can go to the doctors and we can go from there 🥳🎉🎆🙏❤️

I'm also thankful for being able to tackle each and every day even when it's feels like I'm drowning 😭🤗🙏❤️ taking one day at a time and trying to walk not run ❤️

Thank you to each and everyone of you for being here ❤️ and hope you are doing well and know you aren't alone, you aren't invisible, and you are more precious than you know ❤️ even if it is dark now, it won't be dark forever ❤️ take one day at a time and remember it takes time to heal ❤️❤️❤️ you matter ❤️

Sorry everyone I've been MIA in the last 2 weeks and haven't gotten to post any of my story...

I'm thankful for my Gizmo through this all, he's my safe haven 😘😍🥰🐾❤️💯

I haven't got my editing software situation solved yet.. I am looking at other editors and customer service is finally looking into my editing problems.. Once it's fixed I will start releasing the story again 🙏❤️💯

I'm also pretty busy being a 24/7 caregiver to my narcissistic mother and I don't get much time to myself. Makes it hard to tackle things when I am busy. Trying my best to take one day at a time 😞💯

I'm also dealing with my mental health issues (along with burn out from taking care of my narcissistic mother). My depression has been hitting hard in the last 2 weeks.. Wish it had an off switch 😣 along with the mental stress I get my horrible migraines which leave me unable to do much but suffer through them 😭💔

Along with my mental health issues my OCD, insomnia, and anxiety have been bothering me a lot.. Like the other day I couldn't stop stressing over electricity and that made my insomnia worse.. Had to do my exercises from therapy.. Ugh and I almost had a panic attack going into a crowded Walmart for a quick stop. Again tried the therapy exercises.. 😞💯

I am taking my meds which aren't a miracle fix as some believe.. I work on the steps and exercises along with the medication, but that doesn't always help...

What does help me stay strong and tackle every day is my Gizmo ❤️❤️❤️ even though he isn't a cure for everything, he does help me much more than my medication or trying to get my brain to function with the exercises 😘😍🥰🐾❤️💯 I'm thankful God gave him to me, cause he's the best blessing I've ever received ❤️❤️❤️

So I'm going to take one day at a time and when I can I will start posting my story *Blanco The Last of The Wolf Clan* and the side story of Blanco 🤗📖🌈❤️💯
