I need a best friend who pulls my shirt down when my waistband is showing in public, fixing it without a word.

One who discreetly asks me if I have any spare changes with.

Who asks me how I’m doing every hour or so and keeps an eye on how much I’m drinking.

Who doesn’t mind helping me find a spot to change or assisting me even.

One who doesn’t bat an eye when I very obviously have an accident while we’re napping cuddled on the couch.

Laughing when I settle in for the LOTR marathon because I didn’t even bother trying to hide the pretty printed abdl diaper beneath a band tee I stole from them.

Commenting playfully on how they’re jealous I won’t have to get up for potty breaks.

A best friend who keeps spare diapers for me and maybe other supplies over at their place! They could ask me to stay the night on a whim and I wouldn’t even need to bring anything!!

need to go on a day trip with my friends who are a couple. we head to the car and i call shotgun but they laugh and tell me i have to sit in the backseat, that im too little for the front. i roll my eyes and blush at the same time.

while we’re out and about they come up behind me and pull down my shirt, making sure my waistband isn’t out. when i get ice cream on my face they don’t say anything, they just hand me a wet napkin; or better yet they wipe my face without asking. yeah, i squirm and whine, but i won’t lie and say it doesn’t make me feel warm and tingly. the other one snaps a picture and smirks.

the two of them walk hand in hand. im a few paces in front of them on the busy main street, peering into shops and admiring the architecture. when i take a step too far away, one of them loops their fingers in the O ring on my thin leather bracelet and tugs me back. later, when im too far, they call out my name and i come bounding back. they pat my head, scratching it lightly, and i nearly melt under their hand.

they let me drag them into the boutique toy store we can’t afford. no impatient sighs or foot tapping while i crouch to examine all the toy vehicles, or rub my hands over the stuffed animals. one sneaks off and comes back with a stuffed puppy. they tilt its head at me and make little barking noises. the other laughs and says that now i know how they feel all the time.

they both use the bathroom before we get back in the car. we’re close friends, they’re together, so we all crowd into one family stall. i declare i don’t need to change. they exchange glances and raise their eyebrows. one of them holds me by a belt loop while the other does a squeeze of my crotch and bottom.

i wind up on the floor of the large restroom, arms crossed and huffing while one changes me. the other holds my head in their lap and tries to make me smile. i pretend it doesn’t work.

when we’re finally back to the car i don’t complain about sitting in the back. my legs are pushed apart by my thick diaper. it’s nice having the extra space to stretch out. i drift off before we’re even on the highway.

i stir a while later when i feel a hot stream trickle out of me into the padding. i can hear them talking in hushed towns while the trees on the side of the highway zip past. i cant make out everything, but i get the jist.

“i guess we don’t need to get a dog or have a baby to know what it’s like to take care of something…”

Reflections on being a Daddy: The magic is in the contrast.

There are so many contrasts between us and our kiddos, take the photo below. Riley has a cot side up, he's clearly in a thick night nappy, plastic pants, sporting a dummy and his morning bottle.

You can't see me due to Tumblr restrictions, but I'm completely naked, sitting in my arm chair, and holding my favourite coffee mug- which little man got me not long after I adopted him.

There are so many other contrasts in our relationship, for example

1. I get to make decisions, Baby has to ask permission .

2. I use the big boy potty, Baby uses nappies for everything.

3. I get to watch big shows, baby watches Disney and cartoons.

4. I get to wear awesome grown up clothes, baby wears babyish and toddler clothes wherever we are.

5. I get to eat with cutlery, bavy eats with his hands or Daddy cuts his food- even in public.

6. I get to laugh and make jokes with other adults, baby needs to mind his manners and babble!

7. When I make a mistake I get to say sorry, baby's bum gets to do the apologizing for him.

8. I use adult grooming products, baby uses baby shampoo and had a paw patrol toothbrush

9. I carry all the worry and stress, baby lives care free with no responsibility .

10. I cook, clean and do the laundry, Baby makes all the messes.

And there's probably 100 more that I could talk about, but the important thing is that there's a difference between us and our kiddos. That should be celebrated!

We aren't their best friend, we aren't one of their mates, we are their Parents, and it's time we acted like it! On saying that I feel like I should be running around with a nappy in one hand and a paddle in the other! 🤣🤣🤣

You Might Need a Daddy or Mommy to Take Care of You if...

1.) You leave clothes, stuffies, and toys all over the floor. So you need to be disciplined to keep them picked up.

2.) You need to be reminded of things because you commonly forget things you need to do. Like refilling a prescription, or paying a bill, or picking up something from the grocery store on the way home.

3.) You hate getting up to walk to the potty. So you need somone that will let you wear diapers and change your diapers, or someone who can carry you to potty, pull down your pants and back up .

4.) You are too scared to go to the doctor even when you are sick. So you need to have someone schedule the appointment for you, take you to the appointment, and comfort you the entire appointment.

5.) You cry easily over little things, especially when you are sleepy, hungry, or had a bad day. So you need someone to cry on and hold you.

6.) You are too shy to call customer service when you buy something that doesn’t work. So you need someone to call for you.

7.) You commonly forget your purse, or wallet, or debit card, or license at home. So you need someone to remind you when you leave the house.

8.) You do not like to drive cause you think its scary, so you need someone to drive you places.

9.) You hate dressing yourself for the day and for bed time. So you need someone to help pick out your outfit and dress you every morning and every night.

10.) You get fussy and cranky when you do not have a nap. So you need someone to put you down for a nap.

11.) You are too shy to order food for yourself. So you need someone to order it for you.

12.) You are not good at remembering to drink enough fluids. So you need someone to make you drinks and bring them to you.

13.) You are messy when you eat and drink. So you need someone to put your drinks in sippy cups, put a bib on you, and wipe your messy face and hands when you are done eating.

14.) You are a picky eater. So you need someone who knows exactly the things you like and don’t like.

15.) When you are sick you act like even more of a baby than usual. So you and extra care and extra cuddles when sick.

16.) You are just super needy in general wanting constant attention and constant cuddles. So you need someone who will spend lots of time with you, and give you cuddles every day.

17.) You like to play little kids games like building a fort, playing tag, playing hide and seek, playing kids board games, and play with dolls/stuffies. So you need someone who will play little kids stuff with you.

19.) You forget to look both ways crossing the street a lot. So you need someone to hold your hand to keep you from walking in front of cars and look both ways for you.

I’m yearning for a group of friends who all know and accept that I’m a little loser who are not afraid to casually tease my about my “special underwear”

Like we’re all hanging out playing video games and I win a round and celebrate only to be met with “well at least I don’t wet my pants” or “congrats on the win, have you had an accident yet?”

Or we’re at a concert and I’m wearing protection just in case and a friend taps me on the shoulder and says “I don’t want to lose our spot, but I really have to go.. could I use you?”

Or if I’m wearing a skirt, taking every opportunity to flip it up and expose my poofy butt

Or if I mention that there is a girl at the bar who I’m interested in, responding with “yeah? She’s cute! Do you think she’d go out with a bedwetter?”

Or every once in a while when I get up to change, one of them would volunteer to change me, because they find it cute and funny how submissive I get once I’m laid down on my back, totally soaked, and in their control.

I would love the casual acceptance that I’m a little diaper wearing baby, the very mundane reality that all my friends think of me as a pissy pants who likes to feel like a loser, and that they love and appreciate that.

The thought of being teased for a bedwetting chart update in a group chat is literal peak embarrassment and I want it so badly 🥺🥺🥺
