Jonas had helped Ricky look for her because there was at one point that Ricky was apart of the police station. So naturally the guy still had friends there. And Jonas was one of them. He didn’t mind helping though. After he had told Jonas that she had been found he gave them some space. But now he sat in the King’s Head. Looking over at her for a moment. “Hey.” He smiled a little bit, while looking over at her. “I don’t know if you remember me but I’m a friend of your brothers.”

Ever since being back, there was very little that Audrey did on her own. She wouldn’t even sit with her back open to a room. She was constantly nervous and jittery. It was no wonder. Even right now she wasn’t actually alone. Amanda was in her office and Audrey had said she would just stay here until either Amanda left or Ricky showed up. She had gone to the bar to order a drink and was now walking back toward her little booth in the corner. She noticed someone watching her and her heart did a panicked flip. She gave a small smile though and nodded. “–hi…” she said quietly before sliding onto the bench and pushing herself against the wall.

“It really is. Sadly though, many don’t think that.”
“This is very true and that is pretty sad.” He frowned a little bit.

“I think we both need a vacation.” Jonas stated, looking over at her for a moment. “But have you spoken to Penny since she’s been gone?” That had been a hard decision to make. To bring Penny in instead of turning her over to Emily or another family member.

“It’s been crazy but this is much better.” He chuckled lightly. “I figured we could get a tree tonight.”

“Hi, love.’ Jonas grinned, wrapping his arms around her as he kissed her back gently.

“Hi, boyfriend!” Emily laughed, leaning in as she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him.

“Alright, I’ve won you that stuffed bear, we have eaten enough. Now what ride should we go on?” He questioned, smiling as he looked over at her. Everyting was pushed aside this way he could spend the day with her. But he was also on alert.

Emily chuckled too as she sat back down, tugging him down next to her on the couch. “Want me to get you anything?” She asked, before she nodded. “Yeah. Uh. I was going to send off some of my own designs to some of my contacts… see if anything would come of that.”
Jonas moved to sit down on the couch next to her, his arms going around her. “No, just being here with you is what I need.” He told her honestly. “That is great, Em. If anyone can do it. It’s you. I have complete faith in you.”

Emily smiled back at him, leaning up to kiss him back. “Oh, no.” She looked back at him sympathetically, feeling bad if he’d had a stressful day. “Well, you just sit down and I’ll spoil you.” She chuckled, shrugging. “Pretty good, honestly. I think I’ve figured out my next move.”
Jonas smiled into the kiss once he felt her kissing back. His arms remained around her even after she pulled away. “It seems like an almost every day thing.” There was a small sigh that escaped his lips. “Oh yeah? I like that idea.” He chuckled lightly, that smile of his remaining on his lips. “Did you?”

Jonas moved into their apartment, closing the door behind him. There was a small sigh that escaped his lips. Honestly he was just glad that he was home. When he heard Emily’s voice, he couldn’t help but smile. “Hey, gorgeous.” He said, as he moved into the room. Looking back at her now. “Stressful day but that is nothing new. How about you?” He questioned, as he moved over to her. Leaning down to kiss her lips.
@jonas–tate
Emily looked up from the laptop in front of her when the door opened, smiling brightly. She’d been doing some research on a few things but had been getting bored and wishing time would hurry up so Jonas would get home. Lucky for her, he seemed to have finished early. “Hey, you.” She said, when he came into the room, looking up at him. “Good day?”

Jonas had been working and he was trying to figure out how to convince Becky to actually press charges on their father. That was a challenge within itself and he knew it was tough decision. But in the end that man deserved a lot including being behind bars. Seeing Abigail, he couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. "Brother-nap me huh? That is a new one. I don’t think that Emily would like that too much.” He teased lightly. “Oh I am definitely tempted right now. Alright, let’s go.”
“Yes! This is exactly what it looks like. I haven’t seen you in that long that it’s resorted to this… I’m going to brother-nap you. Yep. You heard me!” Abi’s smiled showed she was joking as she moved to bring her arms to wrap tightly around him. All jokes aside… if he hadn’t found her and Becky when he had then she wasn’t sure whether she’d be here right now to be able to nag him about not seeing him enough. “I do have beer and pizza back at my place though. I know your tempted. Come on?”

Name: Jonas Tate Age: 29 Sexuality: Heterosexual Gender: Male Portrayed By: Jesse Lee Soffer Availability: Closed
“Everything feels different round here and yet… nothing ever seems to change, huh?”
→ Background
Jonas Tate grew up as the protector of his little sisters Abigail and Becky. Their father was a drunk and sometimes he got quite out of control, once even throwing all Abi’s belongings out on the front garden while in a drunken rage. Their mother worked herself practically to death just so she didn’t have to be around the man while he drank himself to sleep every night. It was quite a mess, to put it lightly, and Jonas didn’t always know how to really make the situation better. He was older by five years and it seemed like Abigail always got the worst of it. Becky got the least. Jonas was stronger than their dad anyway but it’s not like the man ever really got physically violent with anybody else, it was more throwing things around and shouting, which was pretty exhausting and probably scarier for his sisters than for him. But he did his best - not every day was that way, thankfully - and he and his sisters were quite close. He and Abigail were both in the popular crowd too so they ran in the same-ish circles.
Jonas had always had his eye on Emily Lane, who was a model and quite an amazing person, and he hated when she dated Tyler Kirk because he didn’t like the way the guy treated her. She deserved better so when they broke up, Jonas decided to make his move. They were only together briefly and he feels like it was a rebound for her but he still cherishes the time they had regardless. Emily is someone that no guy who’s lucky enough to get her should let go of, but maybe the timing wasn’t right or she wasn’t ready. Jonas doesn’t know but even though they broke up, he always sort of held a candle for her.
→ Back to Baberton
Jonas moved to London for university but he was very good about returning home to visit his sisters, once Abi came home from some road trip she went on with her high school boyfriend, ages ago now. He always kept in touch with her, she was the most important person in his life aside from Becky. Abigail then went on to skip town a couple of times a few years back and then, finally, stopped coming home altogether. It was actually months before Jonas heard from his sister again and the relief was unbelievable. He was so glad she’d reached out and he made her promise never to cut him out like that again. They’re close again now and he makes sure to keep in touch with her all the time, though she refuses to come home, but he can always visit once she finds a permanent place to call home. For now, she’s travelling and soul searching, and he feels like it’s good for her so he doesn’t nag, just worries quietly about her.
When Jonas returned to Baberton a couple of years ago, he came back to a town full of murder and mayhem. It was crazy. Everything feels the same and looks the same but… everything’s changed too. People are dead, people have left, new faces… nothing seems to be getting done by the police but that’s why Jonas is here to help really, along with be closer to his remaining sister. He’s currently a criminal profiler, having finished all his studies, and he’s determined to help the local police find this killer once and for all, and put an end to all the madness.
→ What’s His Secret?
He knows about the way that Ryan Fletcher used to treat his sister when they were together. He didn’t know anything at the time but now that he does (both Abi and Charlie Baker have told him bits and pieces - the latter only after some serious pushing from Jonas after a phone call with his sister ended in tears and she simply told him to “go ask Charlie” before she hung up.) Jonas is furious that Ryan used to hurt his sister, and that he seems to have a pattern of getting away with this, and he’s made it his mission to go after the guy and take him down, get him put behind bars where he belongs. He’s sick in the head and Jonas wants him off the streets for good, before he can ruin some other poor girl’s life. He just needs some proof.
