Tier 2 Tiny Home

This is the first tiny home I built with the Tiny Living Pack. It’s a Tier 2, which is sixty-four tiles, and furnished for three Sims and a pet. I know lots of things look like they’re not routable or usable, but I promise everything is. I playtested this for quite a while with two adults, a toddler, and a dog and it is very functional. 

This lot is CC-free. It uses items from the following packs: Seasons, Cats and Dogs, Get Together, Get to Work, Parenthood, Vampires, Spa Day, Tiny Living, Romantic Garden Stuff, and Perfect Patio Stuff.

The Either/Or Legacy Challenge

Overview:

Hi! Welcome to the Either/Or Legacy Challenge! This is meant to be a laidback challenge that just gives you something to strive for each generation, but with the added twist of picking between two options each generation. I created this with the short lifespan in mind and that's what I recommend playing on, but you can do it on normal too. (Long isn't recommended due to how little the challenge has to offer, but you can if you want.) Assume that adopted children can be adopted of any age unless otherwise stated.

Getting Started:

Create your founder in CAS  (Pets are allowed, but the only sim should be your founder)

Your founder can be any gender, but they can’t be a vampire.

Buy a house within your budget, either furnished or unfurnished and then use the leftover money to get furniture. Or use freerealestate it's your game do what's fun for you.

Rules:

Minimal cheats unless you need to fix a glitched sim or moveobjects

You can create sims and add them to the world for your heirs to romance/befriend

Your heirs don’t have to get married or date, as long as they fulfill one of the child requirements.

If your sim has twins/triplets and you go over the child count, that’s fine. Just don’t have any more.

Your sims can move houses/towns as many times as you want

Hard Mode (Optional): 

Do both goals and master both skills for a given generation (You don’t have to do both child goals) 

Gen 1

Master either the Violin Skill OR the Flower Arranging Skill

Goal: Either go to any venue at least twice a week and stay at least 2 hours OR Make at least 1 new friend a week and keep these friends until they or your sim dies.

Children: Have either 1 child naturally OR Adopt 2 toddlers 

Gen 2

Master either the Video Game Skill OR the Charisma Skill

Goal: Either collect every microscope print OR collect every postcard

Children: have or adopt as many children as you like, but have them all either earn the Responsible Trait OR the Good Manners Trait

Gen 3

Master either the Painting Skill OR the Photography Skill

Goal: Solve the Strangerville Mystery OR once your heir is a young adult, use cheats to set your household funds to 0

Children: either adopt 2 children OR have three biological kids. Bonus points if it's triplets (you can use MC Command Center to achieve this if you'd like)

Gen 4

Master either the Fitness Skill OR the Logic Skill

Goal: either have 3 negative lot traits from your heir’s young adulthood to death, OR have your heir get married twice and have both spouses die of anything except old age.

Children: either adopt 1 child age sim OR naturally have 2 children

Gen 5

Master either the Rocket Science Skill OR  the Knitting Skill

Goal: either host a party once every week OR have your heir get one new piercing, tattoo, hairstyle, or hair color once every in game week (every 2 weeks for Long Lifespan) during their entire young adulthood

Children: Either adopt 4 kids, or keep having kids until you have twins (or reach 6 kids whichever comes first) 

Gen 6

Master either the Piano Skill OR the Baking Skill

Goal: Either complete the snowglobe collection OR have your heir and their partner/spouse only have a part time job until they die/retire

Children: have or adopt either 2 boys OR 2 girls (keep trying until you do)

Gen 7

Master either the Mischief Skill OR the Medium Skill

Goal: Either earn a gold medal in at least 3 different types of parties OR adopt 4 pets

Children: Either have 3 kids with different people OR adopt 4 children

Gen 8

Master either the Gardening Skill OR the Mixology Skill

Goal: Either randomize all of your heir’s traits and their children’s traits OR have your heir achieve an Awful Reputation and keep it until they become an elder

Children: either adopt 3 babies OR naturally have 2 children

Gen 9

Master either the Parenting Skill OR the Fishing Skill

Goal: Either have your heir achieve a Great Reputation OR randomize all lot traits once a week

Children: either have 1 child naturally or adopt 1 toddler aged sim

Gen 10

Master either the Guitar Skill OR the Cooking Skill

Goal: Have your heir become either a global celebrity OR have your heir only earn money from collecting, busking, etc.

Children: either have and/or adopt 3 boys OR 3 girls, keep trying until you do!

(not so) Vampire bathroom. I always loved the bathroom items that came with the Vampire pack but rarely used them because I didn’t really like the swatches or the additional details on the toilet and tub. I always hoped to see someone recolouring them but decided to finally give it a try myself.  - 10 swatches. I’ve been using @reticulates beautiful “Daydreamin’ eye set” as defaults  for my sims game for ages now and so, naturally, I wanted the Cottage Living Critters’ eyes to match.

Info:

» All animals’ eyes were changed (foxes, llamas, cows, chickens, bunnies).

» The animals won’t show up as cc.

» I increased the texture size for chickens, bunnies and llamas to improve pixelation.

» Different animal “variants” have different eye colors (e.g., white hens have blue eyes and brown hens have green eyes).

» Requires Cottage Living.

Converting CC Nails to Nail Categories

hello all! I have discovered an easy way to move cc nails into their respective nail categories! I will also be including a template for creators to fix uv placement of their nails, if so desired.

You need: CAS Tools 

1. Open CAS Tools and click the ‘Clone Package Editor’ Tab.

2. Open your CC nails that you wish to convert with the select button.

3. Use the drop down menus to select either fingernails or toenails

4. Click commit changes. It’ll look like nothing happened, it worked, I promise.

5. Save your package!

That’s it! Your nails are now in the nail category

I have updated a UV template and added the proper fingernail and toenail uv sections. You can find them here! 

Here is also a tutorial on changing UV layout to coincide with the template, if you were feeling up to updating your cc to it’s proper UV section.

They are CC free, only defaults (except for the alien sim who has antennas and black acessory eyes, but you don’t need it);

They have no jobs/careers or relationships, except for the two elder sims (they’re married);

They are dressed for all outfits, obviously;
