Sometimes I feel like I've grown up too fast

Where did all that time go?

I lost years trying to grow, thinking my childhood would always last.

I remember wanting to be someone way more free,

And how I wished years would fly

Forgetting they were mine.

I had thought of my future

Like it was some sort of illusion;

As if time would never fracture

An innocence with confusion.

Well, I was definitely incorrect.

Time adores to run and hide, leaving you to seek and regret

that you were abandoned aside.

The future was never that far

And the past was always near.

While one was fading to scar, the other was getting more clear.

Now that the future is concrete, My childhood is supposedly complete.

Yet now I long for my youth when I had ignored the truth.

Maybe were destined to be satisfied with an ephemeral present, so we can live without being tied

To a time we wish had lived when we hadnt.

I am never on a high for a ship or love team in the Philippines. Until this one.

They call it… Joshnella. 😅

Actually, I’ve been following this great young man of an actor which in my heart of hearts I believe is the best in his generation. I’ve seen the acts of his contemporaries but man… man… this one is a gem in Philippine Cinema and Television. And so, I learned that there’d been some trying time for him because of his relationship. Which saddened me. But then, his career still moves on…

Partnered then to one of my favorite voices in Philippine music, I love her more as a singer than actress but, well… People were cool about the transition, as both made it anyway. 

The prime time soap was a success, to its storyline, plot and actors. Thanks to all the staff and actors that made it possible. 

But the fever blazes still. And it made we wonder.

Were PR stunts made along the way, or perhaps beforehand to pave the way? The female lead would suffer more if the tandem clicks and developed as a KathNiel and LizQuen developed. The male lead was coming from a hot tandem as well which cannot be denied. And what’s worst, the ex is a contemporary and known friend of hers. 

My thoughts goes then, was the low profile BF to be a buffer to impede a probable escalating relationship of the leads. Was it used to protect the young lady who suffered too much already because of a violent ex? It doesn’t make sense to see an exchange of warm post from each other in instagram while the BF supposed to be is in low-key. And knowing that this low-key BF has not received much success yet career wise. What does it make of him having to cling to this star? What sacrifice on his part, but apparently an advantage too… whatever that advantage may seem to be. 

Well, I still cannot buy the reality that the young female lead is indeed in a relationship with a low-key showbiz BF, but in the same way I do not mind if they truly are cherishing something real. But, looking from afar, things need to make some sense. Especially if I am looking at this BF’s point of view.

And so, what is the probability that some PR stunts were created along the way, to pave the way to a promising Love Team? For me honestly, it’s 90% probable that things were planned ahead to protect a young lady’s reputation. 

How about for the young man? I sense a great deal of maturity in him, I feel that what he’s been preparing for is his coming back to school. He needs finances for that and some more to sustain things around him. 

And who knows? For a budding beautiful ‘habangbuhay’ friendship will grow something more. But… this will count years if so… many years.
