Beauty, lifestyle and fashion sophisticate Cat Arambulo delighted guest with the intricacies of designing for clients and aligning it with the owner’s lifestyle and personal taste in an intimate gathering recently held by moodboardMANILA.

Set at La Creperie in Burgos Circle, BGC, moodboardMANILA, a design agency that offers expert space consultancy services, offered special guests a preview of how the character and lifestyle of the person plays into the overall design of his space.

“When you talk about your space, it’s all about you. It’s about your personality,” Cat shared, as she presented how an individual’s preference over fashion, colors, patterns, and elements bled into the aesthetics of his or her interior design.

Trends in Fashion and Design

As per Cat, fashion people are more inclined to creating beautiful spaces. “When you’re into fashion and you enjoy the details of a particular clothing, style, or trend, you can easily apply it to how u decorate your space,” she said.

As for trends Cat mentioned Copper/Rose Gold. Green, and Marble are set to make waves in the design landscape this year. “Marble is always in, and so is mixing and matching textures, like corduroy mixed with leather,” Cat shared. “You can even do five different textures in one color. Put in something silky, something leathery, suede, something fluffy. It creates more drama and character that way.”

As part of the program, moodboardMANILA’s in-house interior designer Kristel Poyaoan treated the guests to a fun activity that determines the design style that works for them.

When asked about what it takes to come up with their unique designs, Kristel shared that familiarity with the client’s character is crucial. “You need to, at least, have a sense of what appeals to them, what they respond to, and why,” she explained.

To moodboardMANILA, no rules refer to a space where you don’t get boxed in on your desire to be diverse. It means crafting designs that exude a certain harmony that flows around the pieces curated to enliven your space and nurture your well being.

Let’s talk about coffee shops! I am a fan of coffee shops since I started blogging. I found these very chilly every after photo shoots. I also prefer studying on coffee shops as I am a bit lazy when I am stucked at home with lot school stuff in front of you, well coffee shops can make it a lil bit less burden for me. I have been in different coffee shops with different interiors, food and other stuff that can make their store unique and fancy. Let’s fast forward to reality and experience the magic with this millenial era. Call it petty if you will, but the struggle is all too real. Before entering SKIN101′s place, these corners are the one that can capture your instagramable eyes. If you see them in real life, you would actually react that these corners are very instagram-worthy. Well, that was my first thought when I waited on their beautiful waiting place. I so love how their interior gives me this relaxing mood even though I’m in a place where I know I would gain so much pain. The colors makes the environment more appreciating and loving.

Here's just a quick tour of my room, rather the doctor's room. This is such a goal. I super love how inviting this room is. Every thing in this room is such a gem. I can live here forever. So clean and refreshing to the eyes. I guess every patient of Skin 101 will never forget how appealing this room is. I so love it.

Going to the rooms where every patient screams out the ass of them, each rooms are well designed and organized. I am very particular to rooms because I want it comfortable to stay, in this room they made it 100% satisfying. The stuff they use on the treatments are 100% clean and new for patient's safety. You really can see when you visit them that they are all well prepared for you.

I visited them first week of October to have my very first session and experience with Skin 101. I never knew liking them since I never heard of their name even before. I was shocked reading the email that I will be experiencing their treatments, since I am a very acne prone skin. I have no doubt to say yes and try them. There you go with first session. I consulted the doctor and I was asked with few things I'm doing to my face. My face was horrible that time. The doctor was shocked when she saw my face makeup free. I have a lot of bumps, acne and pimple marks all over my skin. Well, makeups are my partner since I got acnes on my face. Before, I think makeup will save me from everyday life having a severe acne, I realized that I should really take care of my skin and consulted a doctor so it won't be this worst. I swear guys, I am not flawless. I have imperfections all over my face when I am not wearing makeups. The doctor then told me to have my facial so it could clean my face. I was shocked seeing how many whiteheads and blackheads were removed on my face. This treatment is painful, ps, if you have worst acne. The pricking was painful but I was thinking the quote, no pain no gain. After the facial, I was then served to my first session of RevLite. RevLite will remove all your imperfections on your face. I can say that this is effective. After my first session, I can really see the difference of my before and after look, well I will really see the difference after all my 8 sessions. DENIM CITIZENS

Denim has played a major role in fashion. Through its #DenimCitizens fashion show series, SM Men and SM Youth celebrated this undisputed fashion staple, known as one of the most quintessential fabrics, present in every era and surpassing every trend and that has come and go.

In every #DenimCitizens show, a variety of denim ensembles were featured including patched denim jackets and chambray long-sleeved tops, muted blazers and bomber jackets, basic shirts and striped tees, and denim pants. These pieces can be easily mixed and matched to create timeless yet updated denim looks. SM Youth Ambassadors Tommy Esguerra, LA Aguinaldo, Janna Tee, Richard Juan, Kyle Perry and Kaila Estrada, and seasoned model Joan Bitagcol also walked for SM Men’s featured brands.
