oh my god the heat was unbearable. i had not been this hot in so long.

i was walking through this unbearable jungle when i heard water. it sounded like someone was scrubbing something. i stood behind a tree with my sword ready. I looked past the tree and saw finnick and katniss in the small pond. i took a wrong step and stepped on sticks that snapped and katniss fired an arrow at me. i held my hands out and slowly came from behind the tree. Katniss grabbed another arrow and aimed it at me before finnick basically ran in front of the arrow causing katniss to to aim it down. “Katniss. It’s Y/N. Calm down.” He said holding up his hands towards her. “How can we trust her?” She said with ber arrow still drawn. “Its not about trust. Its about staying alive.” He said turning and walking towards me and engulfing me in a hug.

“So where have you been?” He asked quietly cleaning his trident. “Oh you know here and there.” I said slightly laughing. “Im gonna go get some water.” Peeta said getting up and walking away. “Where have you guys been?” I asked. “Well there was this poisonous fog. Not all of us made it out but were good.”
