Another QB list
So I've written up a list of UFL QB's and WR's that should be able to take the leap after the season. However there are a few QB's I would like to see play in the spring.
Kyle Trask: The Buccaneers picked Kyle Trask in the second round of the 2021 draft I assume to replace Tom Brady. He had a better than decent college career especially his last year, throwing for over 4200 yards, 43 touchdowns, and just 8 interceptions. He's a big pocket passer who seemed to be a perfect fit for the job in Tampa Bay after Brady retired. That all changed when Baker Mayfield showed up and beat him out for the job. That's not to say Kyle isn't good, on the contrary I would say its a really good sign that he could compete so closely with Baker considering how good he's been since he won the job. I think Kyle Trask might actually be a hidden gem waiting to be mined, teams just don't know how good he can be in a game situation. So maybe the move is to make a UFL team, get some more in game reps and prove to the league that he deserves another chance to compete for another starting job.
Josh Rosen: Hear me out, if Josh can look good in the spring and somewhat bring his football career back to life, that would be really good for the game. It wouldn't really be a step down for him because I think he's in real estate or something but, he could have a career arc like A.J. McCarron. A.J. was really good for both the XFL and UFL for as long as he played. He elevated the play of both leagues and made them a compelling watch when the NFL season ended (in my opinion). I know Josh Rosen still has enough juice in his arm to at least be as good as A.J., so he should stop selling cars or whatever and get back in the game.
Colin Kaepernick: This is gonna be contraversial but HEAR ME OUT please!! When we talk about Superbowl winning quarterbacks playing in the spring, we're talking about backups. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a back up on a championship team, you are just as much a champion as everyone else on that team starters included. However we know for a fact that they were not the reason their team made it to the big game. If Colin can comeback after not playing football for 7 or 8 years and ball out in the spring that would be incredible for him and the league in my personal opinion. An actual Superbowl caliber quarterback taking snaps for the first time in a long time just to show all the right wingers who talked massive shit about him that he's still got it. I would personally like to see that he still has some juice left in him even at the age of 37, when asked he always says that he is still training and staying in shape so I'd like to see that in action.

UFL WR List
I'm back with another one. Here's my list for UFL receivers that deserve a shot in the NFL.
Hakeem Butler: There is no way possible that this man doesn't have a job in the NFL right now. He is massive, he is fast, and no one can high point the ball like him. I understand he was coming off an injury to begin this season, but the moment he got in the game he was a game changer.
Deon Kaine: Deon Kaine was a really good player at Clemson and was drafted by the Colts in the 6th round. Towards the end of training camp he tore his ACL and had to miss the season. He made his debut for the Colts in 2019, he didn't see the field much and was later cut from the team. He bounced around the league for while going between the USFL and NFL. If you ask me though he is too good not to be in the league, he just seems like a guy who isn't getting enough chances when on the field to make a difference.
Keke Chism: This is a big receiver who's made some really big plays for the Roughnecks this season. He isn't the fastest but at 6'5' while not a burner he can be a big body red zone threat for a team without enough size on the outside.
Tyler Vaughns: Vaughns has been a really reliable target for Perez and the Arlington Renegades. He is 5th in total yards, 5th in receptions, and 3rd in receiving TD's. He runs excellent routes and catches anything thrown in his direction, but is a bit on the slower side for a receiver his size.
Chris Rowland: For the DC Defenders Chris Rowland has been a standout and the stats don't lie. He is 2nd in receptions and touchdowns, 7th in TD's, 3rd in yards per game, and 5th in yards per reception. He's a small receiver but he is a difference maker and could be a great gadget guy for the right team

Been watching the UFL for the past 10 weeks and I have some thoughts, thoughts that I will sum up in a couple of lists that I will soon have enough courage to put into a YouTube video.
UFL QB's who deserve NFL jobs
Jordan Ta'amu: This guy is in the lead for league MVP currently and he absolutely should be. I believe he has the most passing yards and touchdowns on the season, and when you watch him play you can see how good he is. He's a big play guy who could be a really good back up or even a bridge starter like Jacoby Brissett.
Bryce Perkins: Bryce Perkins had somewhat a bumpy start to his first UFL season but once he got going the Michigan Panthers were basically unstoppable with him throwing the ball. I guess spending time in L.A. with Stafford and Sean McVay really rubbed off on him. He's been an accurate big play machine when on the field, and deserves another shot in the league.
Jalan McClendon: From the very beginning of his first start this guy made everything look easy. Every pass came off his hands just right (for the most part) and he looked super athletic running the ball. He has a good deep ball, he can throw a bullet, and at times he can be clutch. I wanna see this guy at the next level so bad, hopefully with a excellent offensive coach.
Luis Perez: Here is another UFL guy who got a shot at the big leagues but didn't last long. He played in 1 or 2 pre-season games with the Rams and if you ask me it wasn't enough. He's an accurate passer and should have NFL scouts watching his spring tape to see how big an asset he can be in some of these QB rooms.

Introduction
12 weeks into the football season and all hopes for a super bowl appearance is all but dashed. I currently root for 4 teams at the moment (I know you're not supposed to but whatever), Saints, Seahawks, Browns and Bucaneers. The Browns were cooked from the first snap but damn it the other three gave me hope. The Saints started off on fire the first 2 weeks of the season absolutely humiliating the Panthers and Cowboys. Then injuries reared their ugly head, and they lost 7 games in a row before beating the falcons oddly (fuck the Falcons).
How many times does Baker have to waste incredible performances on this damn team. The Bucaneers have played have played some really close, really great games and nearly beat the undefeated chiefs. Even through injuries to their best receivers and defensive players they played teams close. However no matter how good Baker Mayfield plays (and he is really good this year) They seem to lose in the most heartbreaking ways you can imagine. To this day their best win as a team was against the Detroit Lions who are an absolute juggernaut at the moment.
The Seahawks had the most potential coming into this season. New defensive head coach, great weapons on offense, really good pieces on defense in the secondary and pass rush. This was supposed to be their year to maybe win the division, but the same issues from last year continue to show up on game day. Poor O-line play has Geno Smith under constant pressure unable to operate in the pocket, he somehow still works miracles and is on his way to another 4,000 passing yard season. The pass rush is decent but they still can't stop the run, funny how the young defensive guru can't fix the problem the old sage couldn't remedy. I have to give Mike Mcdonald some grace though, he needs time to build his team the way he wants it and to get the defensive the way he likes it.
Sadly my season as a fan has not gone the way I wanted, there's still hope for the playoffs, but any chance of a Superbowl appearance has been completely dashed.
Yay football I guess.
