Three days of D&AD festival have been a good inspirational research for me.
This year, a lot of focus was on storytelling - which made it less stressful for me to think about not working on my project for three whole days, because some of the talks was relevant for my thesis.

I went to a meeting on Thursday for the next phase of the project with Louis - he is aiming at releasing a prototype of the “game” this summer.
So this meeting was a design brainstorm with me and 11 other people.
With the insights we got from the co-design workshop in February and our creative thinking we had to re-imagine “The Cave” which is were the kids can listen to stories about other kids who are grieving too.

I have sorted all my interview bits, and written the script for my own voice recording that has to be the overall narrator.
So this week, I will be spending a lot of time in the sound studio.
Good thing I missed that place ;)

I want the user to navigate around my project as they want to.
However, I have structured in a way that will sort of guide the user through the “big picture” ..
So I want to make a function where the user can bounce around JUST AS THEY LIKE, by topic.

We had to submit a sketch on Slack for what we so far imagined our degree space to look like. My first submission was this one - however, I realised that I was not a project that was ideal for more than one person at the time. And that it would be ideal if the person could sit meanwhile, as it is a project you need to “zone in” ..

So I tought that 2d in After Effects became a bit borring and not that well fitting to my project, which in its self has a lot of depth.
So I am trying to experiment in Cinema4D - which isn’t easy when you have a MacBookAir.........
The program is extremely heavy but powerful. I far from have enough time to learn it, but I think I can manage to create some scenes which with fit well with my interviews.
This is just a small experiment - however, took 3 hours to render..... #lol
