my beautiful nyqu'il and her dog.
#art#acrylic gouache#youll never guess the convoluted story behind this one#so i was trying to set up dosbox to play the first fallout#and that went fine thank you for asking but i was intrigued by this other game the same studio had made#descent to undermountain. sounded interesting! probably another one of those profoundly mid dnd rpg games from that era#i saw a Single Image from the character create screen and became smitten with this comically evil looking headshot illustration of a drow#i didnt end up playing descent to undermountain the anti-piracy disk measures werent playing nice with my computer without a disk drive#and it was too much of a headache to try and work around it. especially when the emulated browser versions were broken w/ the same error lo#but anyways i took her and shes mine now and i have kept a tab open of the low res screenshot of her face for about 4 months now#and i switch over to it when im sad#(yes i know her character image was on the male character wheel shut up.)#dnd art

#art#comics#i made this last august with my feelings still hurt from the dlc#see my remaining undeleted rant if you really want to scroll and read all of that.#but to be more transparent than i was even then- one of the main reasons i was so upset was my attachment to#the character i had hoped miquella would be and spent two years growing attached to#its not that i wasnt open/didnt expect them to be taken in a different direction#(or didnt read the bewitching branch text and hope to god they werent going to do precisely what they did with it in the dlc)#its just that the way it was decided to present his character and the “reveal” of his evil that left such an awful taste in my mouth#i was also mad that on top of the tasteless character decisions it also seemed like the intended lore was scrapped and radahn was dumped in#so anyways#heres godwyn!#be normal about this one please its not slash art.#i like miquella best when their intentions sit heavily and unsettle.#elden ring#shadow of the erdtree#miquella
